Yeah when there are enough results I'll do something with them. As I said before this is neither a witch hunt nor a weapon for "i told you so". If people don't want to explain why they voted him out, then that's fine. As I've said in the other 2 polls, nobody needs to reply whether they vote for yes or no.

Quick one, no discussion needed. Based on current feelings only, should he stay or go? This is a continuation from the previous similar poll, so don't take this personally and don't assume I want DOL out. In theory, this thread needn't get any replies...

I have explained. But I'll explain again. I want to track the trend of whether or not people think DOL should stay or go. Nobody needs to explain themselves, nobody needs to own up to what they voted for, any nobody needs to even post a reply. I can't see who's voted for what, so I've got no ammo to get sarcastic with anyone or pick anyone out who changes their mind. It's just a simple way of monitoring support for DOL.

I'm going to do one of these after each game to see how people's opinions change over time. I'm not trying to build a "told you so" tool, and I'm not trying to cause any arguments. It's just to see how results affect opinion, so asking after a derby win is, I reckon, a fairly good place to start.

I saw them at V97 just after they released the Colour and the Shape, and even played one of their first singles on my school radio show debut... great band.

Again, have you applied the changed from the sticky? Plugins are easy t install, go to the web site hosting them, click the install link and Firefox will download and install them itself. Restart Firefox and they're there to use.

The phrase "don't get me started" has jumped into my head so I might stay muted for a while on this. But all I'd say is, if you haven't tried Firefox properly, get it, do the speed boost thing in the sticky thread, start using the tabbed browsing (especially the middle-click to open in a new tab feature) then give an informed opinion. People are scared of change, which is why IE users will assume Firefox isn't as good as IE before even using it. This isn't aimed at anyone specific by the way, so don't take it personally any of you.

Use it for 5 minutes and you'll also realise it's slow, buggy and generally a bit pointless next to Firefox and *shudder* IE.

I don't think I need to say which way I went. Suffice to say anyone who votes for Nutscrape needs shooting.

Now if only there was an easy way to identify other VillaTalkers. Perhaps some kind of clothing... That's a great idea Simon. Say, did you know about the VillaTalk Village? I'm a programmer as well, web stuff mainly but done a lot of VB.Net lately. I went for the bottom option. I'm leaving next friday. 6 weeks off then to Warwick Uni to do a Secondary PGCE. At least I won't be sat behind a desk 8 hours a day...

If he scores 20 next season and helps us into Europe will you all still be whinging about him being an arse? I'd love to see him join us, as JC said he'd be the reason other teams started hating us. It's about time we stopped being a "nice" club.

Not only that, hadn't Ferrari fallen behind quite a bit when he joined them? It was his dedication to testing and improving the car away from race-day that made the car so good which allowed him to win so much. From everything I've heard he puts in far more effort than most other drivers when it comes to testing and suchlike...
