  1. I'm glad this went up on the front page. The other story led to such a strong feeling of negativity it's nice to see someone taking a step back and seeing this for what it is. Nicely done sir!
  2. I wonder how many fan sites would generate a 221-page (and showing no signs of slowing down) discussion like this with someone in General Krulak's position at the club. I can't imagine anyone else has a team run in this way, with the same amount of passion and genuine interest that these guys have. Boys and girls, we must've collectively done something very right in our previous lives...
  3. What a beautiful sentence to see. If Gabby goes after everything MON's said about him, I'll run naked down Broad Street and shake my ass at a policeman. And trust me, nobody wants that...
  4. Woah. I'd expect a lot of people would use that as their wallpaper given the chance. (That's computer wallpaper, although I bet some weirdo would have it all over their lounge...)
  5. My girlfriend bought the same kit a few weeks ago, takes some beautiful photos.
  6. Best of luck to him. How many players would have been so professional when the club treated him so badly when he joined? Lovely bloke one-to-one too, was happy to chat when I saw him coming out of TK Maxx in Sutton (yes, really) not long after he arrived here. Wasn't a long chat but I think I exhausted his vocabulary at the time Anyway, I see this as quite a shame, but it's the right move for him.
  7. I've started one to cover my day to day goings on at work. I figured it'd help me let off steam if nothing else. If you fancy seeing what really goes on inside a school, it might be of interest. I'd like to get a few people onto this one and get some discussions going on it, so have a look if you're bored. Anyway, being a teaching site you can find it at http://www.hellosir.co.uk
  8. Tried taking this with my Canon compact and it didn't come out, but with my crappy D500 phone camera... Weird.
  9. Wow, nice shot b23. Nice lounge too
  10. You know what? I've no idea
  11. You can set it by text, but admittedly it costs you a few pence (literally) every time you do - it's a service supplied by that web site I linked to. I've never had an issue with listings, I've got 7 days in advance that are all fully searchable. I'm not suggesting my Toppy is better than Sky+, after all the software I'm explaining is developed by an individual not a chunky company, but I'm just trying to point out that just 'cause it's a Freeview PVR doesn't mean it's lacking in features.
  12. I've got a Topfield Freeview PVR. Twin tuner, so can record two things at once, and you can install extra apps on it. One many Toppy users have is called MyStuff, which is an alternative EPG and allows you to set up Series Links (called Control Timers in MyStuff), - works exactly the same as Sky+, but with a 250Gb HDD and no monthly cost (so ner ne ner Simon ). Look here for lots of details... And Beasley, the 3 for £26 offer from Sky is actually £37 'cause you need to add in your BT line rental. So the 3 for £30 deal from Virgin is pretty good.
  13. £30 for Phone, Unlimited Internet and TV sounds good to me, that's with Virgin and what I'll go with in my new house. Sky's "3 for £24" offer or whatever it is doesn't include BT's line rental... I'd have a harder decision to make if I could actually get Sky BB in Aldridge though...
  14. Ooh good spot, it's also available here in the UK. Might be worth a go, thanks
  15. I'll have a read of that, thanks bud Edit: You've got me wanting an ND filter now! Could I get something like this and just hold it in front of my Canon Ixus? I've got manual shutter speeds so should be able to do something nice...
  16. I need to try this to understand it I think...
  17. How does he do that without appearing in the shot himself..?
  18. This is slightly disturbing...
  19. Yeah the sky is a shame, nothing Photoshop won't fix though. And it's my parents' garden yeah, it's quite big by modern "normal sized" house standards I suppose. I'm moving into my own place in a few weeks and my garden won't be quite the same size And as for your moon shots... wow.
  20. Took me by surprise this one...
  21. Me getting arty in the Isle of Wight... New address for my PhotoBlog incidentally, trot along to phlogged.co.uk if you get (very) bored...
  22. Bastard. I spend ages trying to get a decent photo and you dump on it with relative ease. I hate people like you.
  23. Fair enough. I've been playing around with my PhotoBlog template, added in 'next' and 'previous' image previews and slotted in a visit counter at the bottom. It's tricky getting anyone to make comments though, maybe they're just all shit.
