  1. I think both kits look good, the little blue v on the home shirt just breaks the colours up a little bit more, thank god no more black socks although I do like white socks with our home kit, overall a well done to Villa & Macron....
  2. What is wrong with the West Ham shirt, have you seen the Man United kit Have to agree with Imarsha_926 here, the West Ham macron kit is fine, but the Man Utd Nike kit is rotten, I for one am glad we are away from Nike.
  3. Again, that kit needs green socks then it wouldn't be half as bad, blue socks & shorts make it so dull but green socks will brighten it up no end.
  4. That's a better green but would like to see the green socks with blue trim please, I think it looks too dull with dark shorts & socks, personally I'm not against the idea of having an outrageous away kit at all.
  5. Heard it on the radio driving home from work earlier and gave it a couple of fist pumps and shouted yes f*****g get in there, the oldies in the car next to me at the traffic lights must have wondered what the hell was going on.
  6. Bent, Gabby, Weimann are not enough, Holt IMO would be a good signing at the right price and then try and recoup a little bit of the fee by getting rid of Delfouneso as he's never gonna make a first team regular.
  7. What was the info and why did incognito delete his Twitter account ? Does anyone know ?
  8. I'd have him at Villa but wouldn't pay no more than £3-4M tops, a direct replacement for Heskey with a few years left and someone that has scored goals through out his career no matter where he's played, and a much better job than Heskey he would do as well.....
  9. I'm not too fussed on a young Scandanavian manager but looking at other names being mentioned has started to worry me, at least Laursen knows what AVFC is all about and would be welcomed by the fans...
  10. Right, as Olè and Lambert are out of contention I think we should go for Laursen and give him his first job in football management, again it will be a gamble but he'd certainly be given time by the fans and would be respected by he Villa players for the job he done as a player, Mellberg could then come in as a coach and we could still have a dynamic Scandanavian duo at Villa Park, or would they set the team up to be too defensive with both being defenders....
  11. I work at LHR, I suppose I could ask or a transfer.....
  12. I wanted Lambert but got caught up in the Solskjær frenzy and was won over when I watched the YouTube video, I haven't bet on either so am partial there but just so want Olè in charge immediately...
  13. I'm getting worried about McCarthy, can it really all be because some rich loon has decided to have a play about with a few grand, as they say there's no smoke without fire....
  14. Just looked on Bet365 and McCarthy is 6/1, I'm pretty sure he was nowhere near that price a few hours ago, I'm scared now that the board are gonna do something silly again, very scared.....
  15. Absolutely ecstatic....
  16. Thank god that's over, now it's time to party.....UTV SOTC
  17. Ian Taylor has just tweeted "sounds like that's it then" as someone associated with the club I hope he's officially heard its done.
  18. We need to see it on that yellow ticker on SSN and soon.
  19. Welcome to Sunday May 13th guys, hopefully today is the last time that pathetic excuse of manager called McLeish takes charge of our great club....UTV
  20. As long as Randy knows the ticket office are having to call existing ST holders rather than the phone lines going mental with excited fans rushing to renew in anticipation of an upcoming successful season we should hopefully be seeing the end of the McLeish era...
  21. I wouldn't want KMac in control of the first team again, that 6-0 defeat away at Newcastle just proved the guy was totally out of his depth, jeez I still have nightmares about it now..
  22. I really hope it's not black socks again as that just looks plain awful, my twins have the kit and I can't bear to put the socks on them, saying that I really like white socks with our home kit as long as they've a great deal of claret & blue on them as well, looking forward to seeing what Macron can offer us after the Nike dross.
  23. As well as changing the manager - we need to stop hyping our 'youth' players. Herd, Lichaj, Bannan are all around 23 - Lee Hendrie had played for england by that age - and he wasn't the greatest. We don't have a set of starlets - just waiting for game time. The vast majority of those young players won't make it in the prem. The last 2 seasons have shown - when we throw the kids in - the results nose dive. To keep hyping our youth players is IMO almost as destructive as keeping AM in charge next season. There are a few that will make it my choices being: Herd, Lichaj, Weimann, Gardner (Albrighton and Bannan are already established) I think a new manager with some young players could really see Villa playing well. Lambert may be the man for the job. Bannan is only really established as a sub though tbh although I'd like to see him given more game time he just looks too lightweight, Albrighton looks to be average IMO, I hope I'm wrong but I honestly don't think he'll cut it consistently at the top level.
  24. Also don't forget the rivalry between Chelsea & QPR, Chelsea will be bang up for this having lost at Loftus Road earlier in the season, they certainly won't want Rangers doing the double over them...
  25. I think it will be good to have a completely new away kit colour wise as long as they keep it traditional with the home kit, glad to be rid of Nike though...
