  1. Wasn't HH a physio no longer, oh so surprisingly, in the employ of Aston Villa? MM is a top bloke and Villa through and through. The careful eyed amongst you would have seen him on Football Focus a few years back being interviewed with other fans. Anyway, as to the take over. If we are in a period of exclusivity whereby NDAs have been signed, then surely the vaccum of information and silence is only to be expected. Edit: realise the final paragraph is in ze wrong thread.
  2. I honk hat .gif covers the "Southampton" way of building a squad quite well.
  3. Oh I know he was world class, my point was that him being of average height didn't stop him being world class. If anything stops Richards being a world class centre half, it won't be his height.
  4. The guy on Twitter worked for a crowd funded who were attempting to help raise investment for this mob. I've seen somebody else find information elsewhere that suggests his firms portfolio of loans stands at... £4 million. Seems like they were a chump outfit and given the crowd funders involvement would have never had the bona fides to have got through the door, let alone enter an exclusivity period. Seems the guy on Twitter was being economical with the truth and also taking a bizarre risk by leaking this sort of stuff on the web.
  5. World Cup winning Fabio Cannavaro at 5' 9" disagrees with your assumption.
  6. Jon Snurh is certainly brown bread. Azor Ahai on the other hand...
  7. Poor Tomas Rodzoch, I expect to be reading about him in the SDT section of the Gazette after he is struck off he roll of solicitors. Rodzoch is an associate with a London firm that deal in acquisitions. He's probably just cost himself a job, career and his firm a client. All for Jack all.
  8. As if you'd breach client confidentiality by taking a screen shot of... a case management system with minimal data? There are some whoppers on the web.
  9. I think Martins foreshadowing of Jon Snurh is as telegraphed as Olly stabbing him in the TV show.
  10. And now his watch has ended. First thing I would do if I were him upon being Dondarioned is smash Melisandre. Then **** up Winterfell. But only after smashing Melisandre all the way down the Kings Road.
  11. 6 games Cleverley. Explains why we came 17th.
  12. Seems like a nonsense rumour to me. The level of delusion from the Leicester fans, for such a tin pot club, is very impressive mind.
  13. I think he's got leadership qualities too. We need more leaders on the park who have that mental toughness to go with their ability, which I know Richards has bags of.
  14. Not being as good as Zabaleta doesnt make you a bad player.
  15. Completely disagree. He's the hardest defender Bale has had to play against. According to Bale. I think he's a quality player and critically better than anything we currently have. It's high time we improved the first XI with genuine, quality, Premier League players.
  16. The only consideration Stannis shows is for his ultimate goal, and on ocassions Melisandre and Davos. A bloke who murdered his own brother, brother in law, tried to murder his nephew for his cause isn't above BBQing his daughter. As we've seen and as we will (eventually) be able to read. Stannis cannot bend or he will break.
  17. He's not a crap player at all, he's just not as good as Zabaleta, which is hardly a crime. Sorry to repeat myself, but it's just odd how people have very rightly complained that we have trawled the bargain bucket or the lower leagues for years, stumbling around as if we were a plucky promoted team. The minute we go after a good, proven Premier League player and offer him the going rate in wages, people are falling over themselves to complain. In no way is a good player like Richards not good enough for a club who have failed to reach 40 points in three of the last four seasons.
  18. Indont think Stannis lighting up his daughter was out of character, more a progression of where his single bloody mindedness was/is taking him. He has already BBQ'd his brother in law, wanted to torch his nephew and is frequently described as iron, strong, but unable to bend for fear of breaking. That's where this inability to take a step backwards comes from and determination to plod ever onwards in his desire to sit on the throne. He wasn't ever heading back north and if the only way he can head south is to make a sacrifice, even a massive personal one, then he will do it.
  19. Richards is a good player and I think this is a good signing. It's funny that we've gone from people moaning that we act like a a championship club, to spending what is now considered the going rate for an established Premier League player and people still find cause to complain.
  20. Al Qaeda in Iraq couldn't shoot for shit and most of its ranks in 2005 were fit for nothing more than human ordinance. 94 US marines were still killed during Phantom Fury though, in between 1500 of them getting shwacked. That's what the Mereen portion of the story has its roots in; Iraq occupation.
  21. Re:Unsullied in Mereen, isn't it an Iraq analogy? Written 2005 and 2011. Anyway, that was a great episode, although very uncomfortable to watch at times.
  22. The Nights Watch haven't been to Hardhome yet. They were about to go loike but erm...
  23. The Night King was the 13th commander of the Watch at the time the Wall was built, so you're lookig at there being 7000 years of difference! Randyll Tarly is described as a the finest soldier in Westeros, so expect a double hard bastard.
  24. eh? Brandon Stark? Isn't the white walker guy we see at the end the baby that we seen at the end of season 3 Yep, the Night King. Same chap we saw changing one of Craster's sons into an Other and who at the end eyeballs Jon Snow and raises the dead.
