    After this scenario i can see American owned clubs cashing out. They tried tried to implement the American sport ideals on football? yeah, NFL gets 200 mill on one day and yet champions league final gets over 4 billion views? LOL

    I'm watching videos of clubs puling out of the ESL but something just seems off. These clubs can hire best legal minds in the world and they have don't have a plan b? they have had years to plan particular scenarios likes what's happening right now. i don't think this is over by a long shot.

    It's depressing reading some of these comments smith should be sacked? Won play off final, avoided relegation and now were in top 10 of premiership. That says to me he as made progress as a manager. Dean is a villa fan and he gets the club so why not back him instead of taking the easy way out.

    Fine ill be the lamb to the slaughter We are in 10th and playing far better than last season. It shows we have made progress just not in the way people are happy about. This is just a learning curve and I'll take that over being in a relegation battle.

    I'm just astonished of the team we were last year and now - There should be an award for making best signings of the season dean smith would be head and shoulders above any manager in the league.

    I cannot get my head around how different we are this season. Great signings and a great work ethic - I believe this is down to the manager he understands villa through and through.

    Wonder if somebody can answer my question; Jack is consistently being linked to Liverpool, Man city and United. However, their style of play is fast and fluid where as jack holds up the ball last quarter. The only other team I can think of suit his style is Chelsea but for now he should stay with villa - The team is literally built around him suit his playing style.

    I was living in Italy during his time at Napoli. I watched a few games he played and it was a privilege to watch - I've watched a lot of great players but he for me back then was the best.

    Regardless of jack's future villa is where he was developed - Players over the years have been the next big thing Moore brothers, delfonseo etc etc. But, jack is a truly world class player in the making with a unique style to his game. I'm very happy he is a villan and clubs are jealous - Mount, Maddison and other midfielders they are typical English midfielders. Grealish as his own style and totally owning it.

    I wasn't expecting much from luiz but he is class player. If the clause is meet Luiz still needs to decide whether he wants to go and tbh Man city have a lot of midfielders - Doubt h3 wants to sit on bench where he is playing for us week in and out.

    At this point i think commentators are in love with Leeds manager but i think villa are a bigger threat - ill call 2-0 villa cause leeds despite their energy etc lack quality in final third.

    Typical southgate - I think i'm more of the fact what his the problem? more so that not being in the first 11. Southgate is holding grealish back at international level.
