    The time to sign Honda was when he was playing in Holland for VVV-Venlo. But our scouts apparently aren't allowed outside of Britain. No way CSKA Moscow is going to sell him to anyone outside the massive clubs or a Man City/Spurs.

    Spurs seem to have done fine after selling some of their star players. I have no problems selling our stars if we can bring in similar players, but to do that we need to look at players in the continent and that is something MON is not comfortable doing.

    if these six go then we are back to our thin squad issues from 08-09. We'll have no cover at LB, RB or CB (unless you want to count Cuellar who will be playing RB). And only one experienced CMF on the bench (probably Petrov if we get a new CMF)

    same story - no subs, players out of position. But overall we've had our chances. Far better than the FA Cup final

    great result - that's all that really matters. Thought sending-off was harsh - just a penalty was adequate. Friedel for the finals. In hindsight maybe MON was correct to not use subs early on, but after 4-2 I thought it would have been a good time to bring on the young lads.

    Actually it was a really great performance until the last few minutes.

    i am super confident about this game. 3 - 1 Villa and total domination. Getting to 35 points would put us exactly half-way to 70pt magic number for the CL spot. So then we would have to get another 35 pts. from 20 matches. Quite doable.

    I have a very good feeling about this game. Probably means we'll lose 3 - 0! I am actually hoping for a very late winner. Score early and MON will have us defending for 70 minutes.
