    Amazing game. Felt like crying when we were 2-0 down. Comfortable after the pen. I went on the pitch right at the end of the invasion and i have to say that standing on the villa park pitch looking at the holte end madly celebrating is something that will live with me for a long time. I know people shouldnt have done it but i dont regret it.

    Gave the ball away too cheaply all day long. Cant afford to do that against anyone really, let alone at arsenal. Last season we played 5 in midfield and dominated them all over the park... completely different this year with 4-4-2. Big Brad - 6 Luke - 6 Dunney - 8 Carlos - 7 Warnock - 8.5 MOTM Petrov - 5 Ash- 4 Downing - 5 Milner - 4 Heskey - 7.5 Gabby-5

    This was the case last season and it did. However, that's the big difference for me this season - we are playing well and getting our just rewards. Particularly since Milner has moved into the middle / Downing has come into the side we've played some great stuff. We did for the first half hour in this game too. After that it became a bit of a slog but we got the 3 points at the end of the day. Completely agree with you there. We are deserving to pick up all three points this year. A big difference.

    Apparently stoke fans ae still celebrating a goal for this. That WAS hilarious!! Haha! Comedy moment of the season so far for me. They jsut didnt stop celebrating it was hilarious!

    Excellent first half, could/should have gone in 2 up. Off the boil in the second half but it matters little, the defence was excellent. Oh and who says we never take advantage of other teams slipping up?

L Young - 8 Warnock - 9 Cueller - 8 Dunne - 8 Petrov - 8 A Young - 5 Milner - 9 Downing - 8 for the first half, 6 for the second Heskey - 8 Gabby - 8 Carew - worst warm up in the history of football. The first half was a joy to behold. Brilliant football!

    We bummed them. Dominated from start to finish, great display from everyone bar young. Hull were not a threat and are going down.

    Yet they're above us in the league and looked much better than us on the weekend. This thread makes Villa fans look like complete idiots for the most part. Dont tell spurs fans that the league is more important that the carling cup!

    Apart from when we conceeded late on against liverpool and arsenal a couple of years back and drew 4-4 with chelsea.

Have a good laugh at them at the end of this season for me
