    I do wonder what the response will be if we do lose. Will people start to get on Houlliers back? Lets hope we don't find out.

    I voted 9th to 14th as I think we will finish about 12th. However, I also thought we would finish about 12th with The Quitter this season and so must he hence the decision to go.

    Yes Jez they are. This result was obvious from way before the match started simply because of what we have available. Next week against arsenal we will look much better because the kids will be allowed more time on the ball and arsenal will play football.

    Why are people so surprised? These are always the sort of teams we are going to struggle against whilst we have such a physically small team. Its not good, but will take the purchase of a few new players to sort it out. We will beat Arsenal next week.

    Well this game is going exactly as I suspected it would. Blackburn destroy any chance of a decent game of football and then pick up the pieces.

    Not going to get down about the fact we were 2 - 0 up with 10mins to go because it was obviously the inexperience of the team that cost us and there is nothing we can do about that. The experience will improve these young lads and I am proud of them. That is a good and unexpected point.

    Ash doesn't seem to handle pressure well. I think he knows alot rests on his shoulders today and he just can't handle it.

    I suspect we will get dicked today, but to be fair that has got to be the most decimated squad ever. I think the last manager must have made a pact with the Devil in order to keep our limited squad fit - since he left the souls are being reclaimed!

    I think we will surprise everyone by spending quite big although only on a couple of players or so. I expect us to be uncomfortably close to the drop zone so I think this may well force Lerners hand somewhat.

    Considering the number of injuries and lack of options in the centre then a point isn't too bad... ... but boy do we need some striking options come January.
