  1. You are not an easy man to please are you?
  2. Does it really matter? They are not in any danger of going down so who cares?
  3. To many poorly trained and organised players...
  4. THEY ARE **** BURNLEY. NOT BARCELONA. yes, they are tough, but their players are not **** messi. they are still beatable with the right goddamn approach and team selection. Of course they are beatable but to think it should be easy just be cause they are little, unfashionable, Burnley is both patronising and stupid at it ignores their excellent home record.
  5. This was always going to be a tough game.. Burnley are very good on their own patch.
  6. Aye, it must be a struggle for you having nothing to moan about... :winkold:
  7. He said he would like him replaced. Look at the poll at the top of the page. That's 14 folk, you and him included. You've almost got enough for a breakaway Villa rugby team. I voted 'Stay' however am generally in agreement with the crux of Commanders post... I don't feel MON is capable of moving us beyond our current level. I voted 'stay' because getting rid of a manager during a season is a desperate thing to do, unfair on everyone involved (including the new manager) and can easily backfire on a club. Come the end of season though, I think you will find the number of people voting 'Go' will increase by quite a number
  8. I'm still not sure everyone knows where to find the match threads!
  9. Completely off topic for one second but...."Jump in, we'll take you for a spin, and show you round the Wheelie World" Mr Flibble says you've been a very naughty boy!
  10. Out of interest how did Hangeland play? Did he impress?
  11. And ungrateful that you are near a keyboard. Nowt to be negative about here. At least? At least?? What an odd thing to say. Oh grow up, silly keyboard warrior! Oh the irony...
  12. Shhh! Do you not remember Stoke last season... :winkold:
  13. i reckon some people cant find the match threads any more, were definitely more popular when in the main forum I think you maybe right... along with it being on sky of course
  14. I'm thinking you don't know what sycophant means
  15. MY POINT EXACTLY MATE ! My Question for MON as for your now rediculous statement about villa fans. Yeah Martin your right some of do play CHampionship Manager as you call it. Your dcecision to revert back to 4 - 4 - 2 after beating Liverpool with a 4 - 5 - 1 you reverted back to 4 - 4- 2 to play Heskey again ? Not being funny Martin but if a side beat Liverpool 3 - 1 at Anfield i,d keep the same squad and formation. See my point or should i just go back to FOOTBALL MANAGER ! I agree the formation should have stayed the same but the players were correctly swapped around IMO. There is no point having a squad of players and not using them. This was lost away in Vienna.. since then we have won two games. I refuse to join in the wailing and gnashing of teeth like some crazed harpie!
  16. Meh After the Moscow 'incident' I lost any real interest in this competition as obviously did most Villa fans judging by the very poor turn out at Villa Park tonight. It would have been nice to have got through but i'm not gonna go and slash my wrists about it. Oh well, on wards and upwards :-)
  17. They should... if you have the players to play different formations. I personally feel that at the moment our combination of midfielders are best as a centre three and that you should play to your own strengths first and foremost
  18. 4-5-1 for away games without a doubt and if we can bring in a clever, talented player for the advanced midfield role then I think it would work well at home as well.
