I quite often do those 'name the starting Villa eleven v..' quizzes, our turn over in players is immense already! Not sure my old brain can cope with doing it every summer!

You are correct, the result wasn't on Gerrard. We were always likely to lose this no matter what he did and but for shit defending and shit finishing we would have made a real game of it. I do wonder how long he can carry on losing though before it just becomes too much. Leicester next and if we lose that then the pressure to get something against Norwich will be massive for Gerrard.

I feel the same way. This season has been a real damp squib and don't think next will be much better, if at all.

What a pointless time to make the subs. Gerrard you set the team up correctly but by god you need to be more proactive with your subs!

Sigh Thing is we have clearly dropped off since the second goal so we should have been making subs. Now it's 3-0 and any subs are pointless.
