You should still just vote for whichever of the two is more likely to beat the Conservative candidate in your constituency. That is true today and was true on the day the election was called.

I can't think of anything potentially funnier than a hung Parliament caused by a massive drop in Tory support because rural areas are snowed in and people can't get out to vote.

Yup. They understand that it'll be reposted again and again across the internet by people laughing at it, amplifying the message much further than it otherwise would have been. 4% of political nerds laugh. 96% aren't aware of the tiny writing that they are laughing at and just take the message that it's intending to communicate. Like the Comic Sans poster. It's not accidental.

You might have to expand on that. It's not "done" whoever wins the election. It's different levels of "not done", but it's going to dominate the next ten years of political discourse, irrespective of who forms the next Government.

Psst. The "Fact-check" thing. It's deliberately to get people annoyed. They then link it to other people on the internet. And people look at it. And see the message that it's spreading. Same as the Comic Sans poster. Everyone laughs at how bad it is and it gets shared two million times. Completely deliberate. Conservatives upping their social media game. Albeit in an evil way.

Yup. If you're never going to have to implement your policies, you can get away with just saying what you need to say. But for a whole lot of people, as long as they don't walk back their most important policy the rest can be sorted out later.
