  1. You should still just vote for whichever of the two is more likely to beat the Conservative candidate in your constituency. That is true today and was true on the day the election was called.
  2. Well, fair play to old Brillo. Belter of a three minutes.
  3. Also I can't imagine why a fringe party standing in half the seats, polling at 3% in the polls has received such a large amount of roubles. Sorry, pounds.
  4. That in itself is a pretty powerful electoral coalition though.
  5. I can't think of anything potentially funnier than a hung Parliament caused by a massive drop in Tory support because rural areas are snowed in and people can't get out to vote.
  6. Yup. They understand that it'll be reposted again and again across the internet by people laughing at it, amplifying the message much further than it otherwise would have been. 4% of political nerds laugh. 96% aren't aware of the tiny writing that they are laughing at and just take the message that it's intending to communicate. Like the Comic Sans poster. It's not accidental.
  7. Probably a bit unfair. She's doing precisely the job that the people who pay her wages expect her to do.
  8. Unfortunately, that's being ripped apart and having racist graffiti scrawled over it's walls by the headline policy of the only viable alternative Government.
  9. Funny. They seemed to give a toss back in the summer. https://www.theguardian.com/technology/2019/jul/14/accounts-posing-as-dominic-raab-and-liam-fox-among-twitter-takedowns
  10. New one today. Looks like a great player for this stage of the game.
  11. You might have to expand on that. It's not "done" whoever wins the election. It's different levels of "not done", but it's going to dominate the next ten years of political discourse, irrespective of who forms the next Government.
  12. If ever there were a constituency that needed the Labour candidate to take one for the team...
  13. Psst. The "Fact-check" thing. It's deliberately to get people annoyed. They then link it to other people on the internet. And people look at it. And see the message that it's spreading. Same as the Comic Sans poster. Everyone laughs at how bad it is and it gets shared two million times. Completely deliberate. Conservatives upping their social media game. Albeit in an evil way.
  14. Corbyn got to choose whether to open or go second. Johnson then got to choose whether he finished or let Corbyn do it. And was happened is what they chose.
  15. It'll still drag on. You reckon the angry nutbags will just settle down and forget the whole thing if project is taken away from them?
  16. I did all the original twelve, have done Rivals Ligue 1, Liga and Premier League. Am going to whizz through Liga NOS and either Superlig or Mexico this week for 17 and Zanetti and stop there.
  17. You didn't. That's his point. That's the whole problem with your terrible argument.
  18. Jesus Christ. Stick all that "selling bridges" stuff back here.
  19. Prince Andrew really needs to get himself a new PR advisor.
  20. Well I know that Johnson has a pretty colourful personal life, but that's a bit of a surprise.
  21. Yup. If you're never going to have to implement your policies, you can get away with just saying what you need to say. But for a whole lot of people, as long as they don't walk back their most important policy the rest can be sorted out later.
