  1. Hi General, Just wondering, would it ever be considered/possible that the crest that used to be on the old trinity road and used to epitomise Villa Park, could be incorporated on the current stand in some form one day? Thanks
  2. I think you need to sort your priorities out mate :winkold:
  3. Anybody going tot he George Orwell pub on the Wigan pier near the train station? Apparantly there should be some Villa in there too.
  4. Will only be one, as our season ticket holders will nearly take up our whole allocation.
  5. Is it Wigan Wallgate train station we want?
  6. Your ticket would be valid for the re-arranged fixture though, or can you not do mid-week?
  7. Think I booked two singles. Only cost me £17 though.
  8. Mr old band? That's quite a cool band name
  9. £3.30 super off peak return from Manchester!
  10. Hi General, Thanks very much for your prompt reply to my PM last night. You told me to call John Greenfield at the Villa Store, but the online Villa shop number I can find is the Villa Direct mail order store (0871) which i believe is based in Manchester? Do you have a direct number for the villa store? Thanks and keep up the good work
  11. We certainly owe Stoke one. Definately don't want to let them become a bogey team either.
  12. James Milner has been chosen to host the 2018 FIFA world cup.
  13. Oh dear what a bitter lot. Must of been such a memorable performance for them playing us off the park, he can't even remember the score. From the Football 365 mailbox.
  14. I'm also shaking my head. Absolutely awful film in my opinion. It tries to shock instead of being funny and fails at both. 'Borat' was excellent but 'Bruno' is absolute junk..... By the way, I am off to see 'Where The Wild Things Are' today so I'll hopefully be recommending it later on. Since when have VTers had a problem with shock comedy? Have you seen the 'WAHEY it's joke thread"? Anyway I don't think that is the whole purpose of the film, he obviously has to push the boundaries to get the desired reaction, but it is the ignorant way the people bite and react to what he does that truly makes it funny.
  15. Saw 'Bruno' last night. Was absolutely wetting myself. Almost as good as Borat. I can't believe some of the stuff he gets away with such as telling a terroist leader that their King Obama looks like a dirty wizard and getting down to some mega gay action at a cage fighting show in redneck hickville USA. As funny as it is, it exposing some incredible ignorance and hypocrisy, especially with the Americans. So yeah, I would recommend this. Just make sure your not disturbed by people 'getting a little gay' if you watch.
  16. It did feel like winning the cup. We stayed in for a good 15 minutes afterwards having a good old sing song, most notably singing "Who the **** are Man United". An amazing feel when we did leave the ground seeing all the glory hunters trudging back, and I was making no secret of how happy I was!
  17. Unbelievable, best birthday ever without a shadow of doubt. I was close to tears in there. GET THE F' IN!!!! Yes!!!
  18. Yeah there's a few but I think they're usually packed with home fans. The cricket ground is more or less right next to the football ground.
