Oh come on. No-one's complaining about people taking holidays. It's the previous fortnight that I think some have slight issues with ITK journalists being quieter than they could otherwise have been.

I do think people need to accept that Trap has given himself licence to do whatever the hell he wants given what he has achieved for us. If he does something that someone doesn't like, then his tenure here has shown that it's probably him; and not them; that knows what he's doing. Something tells me Foley is not going to be the difference between us achieving and not achieving

A few things. Firstly and most importantly I'm not a mountaineer, so I would be far more motivated to help someone in trouble than I would be by reaching the top. Secondly, I'm not qualified to comment on the risks/dangers of stopping to help someone who themselves are in difficulty. I believe it's life-threateningly dangerous so there may be cases where people actually couldn't help without very easily putting themselves in grave danger. I'd say the risks of certain situations need to be weighed up. There's helping and then there's helping if you get me. Finally, I can't answer the question for those who are motivated by reaching the top because I'm not wired like them. But I would like to hope that they at least have to wrestle with their conscience and not make the decision easily.

If you have an in the know journalist that goes quiet at key times, as a fan, you begin to wonder what the real point of journalism is. It becomes little more than club-sanctioned soundbites. It's completely pointless. I can read all the saccharin crap on the official website

Given the difference in style between what Martinez plays and what our squad is currently used to, I'd say the best chance Martinez would have of succeeding is by being given a good budget to work with so he can bring in his own kind of players. More so than most other managers. So IF Martinez gets it, I would really hope he'd be given a (cliché alert) war chest.

Gylfi hasn't actually signed for Swansea yet so if the Rodgers thing goes through, I'd expect him to move to Liverpool instead.

This also requires to sort the wheat from the chaff. If you lump all 'ITKs' together then you've already missed the point. There's only very few that know anything IMO. And it is those who didn't lose credibility with me.

This discussion is about people being ITK or not. I believe people who were ITK on OGS merely jumped the gun and it bit them on the ass in the last minute. That doesn't mean they made stuff up leading up to that point. And that's the key for me. They are still privvy to ITK stuff. They just should've held off on the '100% done' posts while it was still only 'highly likely'.

I think we need to accept that OGS had a change of heart. Anyone who had ITK on him had good reason to. I don't take OGS's last minute change as being any proof that the more trusted ITKers are full of bull.
