Theres qualities you need to play in the BPL, just playing in it wont make you a good player, i.e. Barry Bannan, has played lots of premier league games compared to some players mentioned, however most players mentioned would probably be better than him. Bannan has BPL experience, but I'm sure that a tall, strong, fit DM would probably be better than him, regardless of what league he played in previously...

I've seen him play, he wins literally every header! Scores a lot from set pieces too, and hes on 1.6 million euros for salary. (approx £25k a week in pounds). He's very experienced and has played in the Europa league (got to the final last year) however Everton and other clubs higher than us are interested so hes unlikely to come to us If we could get him, he would be an absolute steal. Especially at that price!!!

Lerner has given a lot of money to the club, only to see us get into a relegation battle, so he can full well be cautious, thats understandable. Whats not understandable is slashing of the wage bill, we're not going to get anyone if he constantly wants to pay players less, If he carries on doing this, we will only manage to sign Championship, League 1 and League 2 players. Which will mean we get relegated.

He played ok, but imo bennett and enda are as good/bad as each other, but i dont think Bennett was played because he peed of lambert by apologising on twitter...

Guzan - Good hard to comment Delph was brilliant today. Nathan Baker was good (apart from the Penalty shambles) But Benteke, My word, I HATE him, doesn't work hard at all, i mean you look at Weimann who runs his socks off every game week in week out, and then Benteke strolls along SO casually, To be fair, hes a VERY good player to have to win headers, but seriously his decision making to shoot everytime and rarely pass... We were very casual when we went behind and left it fairly late till there was a sense of urgency. On the positive side, MASSIVE improvement in the 2nd half, and i think we might just stay up provided PL gets players in... If we dont get anyone in January, then Im afraid i want Lambert out....

Personally, would love to see PL spend most of his budget on the midfield and defense, not so much attack, if we did want attackers in maybe loan in Guidetti and/or Nick Powell. I quite like the look of Leroy Fer (Fc Twente) for CM, Hes 6ft+ and insane at tackling.
