How can any fan be happy with a squad at the moment? As fans we invest a lot of time, money and wayward emotions to this football club. Its a lot of peoples life. We are a big club and as fans we are demanding and rightly so. We're not asking the club to challenge for the champions league over night we just want some bloody players for every position. Is that so much to ask???

IMO he hasnt handed in a transfer request because he knows the transfer isnt gonna happen anymore. He has already dug himself a hole with the fans so there is no point bulldozing it.

Even if he did hand in a transfer request it wouldn’t change the fact Liverpool aren’t meeting our valuation of the player so what difference would it make? It appears Alonso is staying at Liverpool anyway so I hope all the shit this summer can be forgotten and Barry can carry on playing good football for us. Minus the captains armband of course.

I'd consider Alonso and either £2m or Finnan. Not sure Alonso would be up for it though. He rejected advances from Spurs a few months back, apparently. I'd have Alonso over Barry anyday. Straight swap, great business.

Thats what Barry said, more or less, if Villa don't show some ambition, he would consider his options... his words, not mine! To be fair this is quite understandable. It also happened before with the likes of Southgate, Ugo and Boateng. The main difference now is we have money to spend so there should be no lack of ambition.

Defiantly number 2. Got a Partizan kind of feel about it similar to Croatian flags. I love it!! Everyone seems to like No 3 but I don't think its really necessary to be showing off numbers to the world. We know our history, we don't need to boast about it.

I agree with this but I would rather see Gabby up front instead of Moore, Young on the right and Berger on the left. I do not want to see Knight on the pitch for any villa game, let alone one of the biggest of the season.

shit your probably right. Was our win against SHA 2 years ago not televised? it wasn't . Shitty statistic isn't it and one that is pretty unbelievable It is pretty shocking. But to be honest so is our away record in general over the past few years. IMO this game will go one of two ways. We will outclass them and win convincingly. Every one will bang on about how great we are, how we are going places and what a great manager MON is. Or our weaknesses will be terribly exposed and we will get humiliated. Then all hell will break loose on Vtalk!
