Thats why i tend to stick to posting about players we have been linked to because they are starting to be few and far between to be honest.

But Why? Surely you are not insulting fellow Villatalkers by suggesting we want our club to buy a player simply based on a YouTube Video? :? I use it to check out players I've never heard off. HOWEVER, i know that the clips only contain the 'best' bits of a player so you must that this into account. I think us villa fans use youtube sensibly.. however, I feel that some ppl do use it alot to base their whole judement on... cough Steve cough cough Mclaren cough You have to take in to consideration that only fans favorites have YouTube compilations made of them. For example you are not going to find one of Gavin McCann or Liam Ridgewell.

I haven't heard any of these rumours! I know people who work for Oldham Athletic, and they have a sell on clause he was in there youth team. You tube has just answered my question for me. Nasri reminds me of SWP, very fast with good close control. Kompany seem's like a Lucio, big strong defender that comes storming out with the ball when wins it. Have we ever been linked with either one of these players or is it more wishful thinking?

This is when the club which sells themselves the best will get the player. Money wont be the issue, more a case of which club shows they have the credentials to go places. MON could well be the key factor here.

I also rate NRC very highly. When a whole team goes off the boil the best players unfairly get singled out by fans as better is expected. When in reality their game is suffering due to the crap around them. When West Ham brought some new players and Tevez started firing, we started to see the best of NRC also but all the attention went on Tevez. Would be a great signing IMHO.

I agree. He hasn't got the pace to play on the wing and he also has the ability to control games from the center. I can see big things for Barry.

Maloney is a great free kick taker. I can see him banging a few in from set pieces next year.

Are you all Aston Villa's accountants because you all seem to be very worried about how much we are going to spend on players. I've seen comments like 6 million he would be worth it but 8 million no way! anyone would think your spending your own money.

In fact I think he would become a fan's favorite after banging in some 30 yard volleys! Could see him coming for 4 million.
