I thought there maybe something in the Keane appointment regarding a takeover but after reading all the FFP rules I'm starting to think the worst again. It really is such a farce.

But we can't generate more money without success which requires significant initial investment. Seems like a real catch 22 situation created by FFP.

Well FFP means they are too late for the party. I know everybody is sick of hearing this but it's true. Well we can run up a £105 mil loss and still be within the Premiership FFP rules. So add to some comical 100 mil per year sponsorship and we can get back up in the top 6 fairly sharpish. We'll get some extra revenue from tickets sales then too. That's 105m over 3 years at not more than 45m per year for clarity Ain't raining on any ones parade with that kind of spending. We never know what could happen or even could have happened but I still really hate FFP.

I think that the appointment of Keane which indicates that Lambert is staying for the foreseeable means a buyer is no where near the horizon. That's what I thought at first but then I thought why would Keane be interested in the role? The guy is a winner, why come to us?

It's good to have some pure winners at the club if nothing else. It seems like a strange role for him to take though. Is he short of cash?

Which is why Bendtner would probably be the best striker in our squad after Bentake. As stated already I don't rate Senderos or even Bendtner for that matter. But I think they are better than what we have and I am surprised people are acting like we are about to sign Titus Bramble.
