Not sure he holds much value at the minute for a sale when 2 years ago he was absolutely hot shit. I think back out on loan and build his value and reputation back up. What a complete waste of 12 months.

5 goal 7 assists in 21 starts and 12 subs. It's absolutely not terrible and lightyears ahead of what Bailey did for years. The issue is the sub appearances and the getting the early sub now. He's not made himself the main man and he should be

We paid an "overpriced" fee for a guy with not a huge amount of football behind him for his age but a great period of recent form. The belief at the time was and I think I held it too, we paid a huge premium.

The thing about the penalty was I (didn't we all) know exactly where that was going. Power and wrap a foot around it to the easy side of the net and it was a great penalty. ....but....Matty isn't a man of culture, he wasn't opening up his hips and stroking the ball into the opposite side of the net or waiting for the keeper to go down and putting it down the middle. I don't think that goalie has ever seen him play.

I'd have guessed he would have been subbed off anyway as his main goal in life seems to be 'how can I get booked in the shortest time possible ' Edit minutes played for club and country he averages a booking about every 90 minutes. That is absolutely mental.
