    Meh, we always will be but £40m on the line to secure Top 4. If the right player is available, we'll go for it. I think a RB and maybe somebody to fulfil what we hoped Zaniolo would fulfil in the 8/10 role on the left, Particularly if Ramsey stays rusty for a while too I wonder if we could get Olise or Eze out of Palace

    As ever, the consistency is key. At this point: Arsenal had dropped points in 3 games Man City in 5 Games Newcastle in 9 Games. In the second half of the season, Man City dropped points in a further 5 Games Arsenal in 9 Newcastle in 10 If we want to win the league, we probably need to win 16/21 remaining games. Arsenal didn't have the consistency, Newcastle just weren't at the right level throughout the season. Maybe Arsenal can find it this year as their young squad gains experience. But either way, whoever wins the league from here is probably winning something in the region of 16 more games. A tall order, but we don't face a contender until April. It's in our hands to find that consistency over the next 4 months

    Next 6 for the contenders..takes us up until weekend of Feb 3rd. Think we'll need 13 points from these. We're lucky there's no 6 pointers for us in here against the other contenders but we'll need to become more comfortable on the road to do it

    Though tbh, I figured AwB was injured and that this would leave them with no RB. They had healthy AwB and Reguilon on the bench. Both are probably an upgrade on Dalot.

    Yeah, It's technically one game ban for 2 yellow cards.. However there is a chance it'll be two games. From the PFSA site: It'll be reviewed and he may be given a further match ban, missing ours. So we'll see, technically the ref was right to give him 2 yellows...but was also kind of harsh considering the speed of it. So we'll see what they do in the review

    Exactly. I spent 2010-2018 desperately wanting our players to be passionate and to have a winning mentality... Just hoping we'd stop being such nice pushovers every week. Now we finally have that and we're actually winning. We're **** ing title contenders! Bring it on. More for it.

    This isn't true, he scored a bunch of goals at the start of the season and had some very good games. He's been poor a while now but to say it's been awful every time just isn't true

    Martinez is not at fault for Kamara pushing somebodies face over in a brawl about 2 minutes after Martinez dragged up Maupay about 10 metres away from where the incident happened... What are you all talking about? Kamara reacted, it's his fault

    Watkins went immediately to Franck at the end of the game and was visibly explaining to him his celebration and pointing out the same area of fans. I anticipate he'll come out and explain at some point shortly as he clearly wants it known it was an individual and not to the Brentford fans themselves
