Anyone tell us what the online game mode is like this year? hopefully you can set up tournaments and better leagues.

I rang Tesco earlier, definitely a midnight sale so I sent my brother down but we feared they might say one copy per customer. He just called me after purchase and said theyre giving max 2 per customer so he got me a copy too. Apparently the queues out the door in Asda so if anyones planning on a trip go to New Oscott insteasd of Minworth. CANT WAIT TO GET HOME!! roll on 7am!

why dont you pop in on your way to work rather than back from work?

I finish work at 7am, what are the chances that Asda/Tesco would have sold out by then?

Does anyone know if Tesco will be selling it from midnight, or 7-8 am?

Mellberg, even if Southgate was here for as long I would still vote Mellberg.

If we had a right back at the club then Laursen and Mellberg would have played togther in the middle, and could possibly have been the leagues best pairing.

I voted for Luarsen, but would vote for Mellberg to partner him. The poll should have just asked who would you like to see alongside Laursen as its pretty obvious he's gonna win this by a mile.

James - August 1999 - July 2001 On that basis I have voted for him.

I would say James looking at that list, I remeber him being a top keeper but prone to make the odd howler but I think his ability to pull of amazing saves more than made up for that. Before I do vote for him, like the OP said try to remember players for what they did after 1999. My trouble is I can't remember when we bought him and when we sold him.

To answer my own question, NO Can't believe they still have Sid ames' Park in the game. This is either very lazy or some one from the barcodes works very high in the company.

At least the others give you a choice. With BBC you have no choice in paying a TV licence. I would happily delete all BBC channels if it meant I didn't have to pay a TV licence. I don't need a licence and even when I did get one it's fantastic value for money IMO. If I compare the BBC output to what they serve up in Holland it's decades ahead. Be careful what you wish for as it's the only good TV broadcaster in the world. As for choice regarding adverts my personnel view is that people have got something seriously wrong with them if they watch them at all. The advertisers know that X% will fall for it and actually purchase, I don't want to be in their statistics in any way. Also everytime you watch one it gives money to people like ITV, that's never good. I'd rather it be my choice rather than it be forced upon me. As for the only good broadcaster in the world... Maybe if they put something on that I enjoy watching I'd find out. Doubt they are as good as Sky anyway - at least they give you a choice if you want it pay for it, that is the way it should be.

I don't agree with 90% of MONs signing, and this window has been just a big joke much like the last one. But the truth is he has improved us year after year, and we wouldn't be able to replace him with a bigger name. Everton almost got relegated a few season ago but they stuck with Moyes and have had 2 back to back 5th places. Newcastle and Spurs sacked good managers and never recovered. I say stick with MON and see where we are at the end of his 5 year plan - then decide.

Who else is there? Remember: Laursen proven Premiership player and captain, age 32. Campbell, Distin and Dunne all fit that profile. If they have the same quality or not is a different arguement, I'd be pushed to think of a defender in the same quality league as Laursen. Practically every country in the world plays football, perhaps MON should look abroad rather than just Premier League or SPL. Age is the only thing in common with Laursen and 2 of the players mentioned.

Didn't MON say he wanted to replace Laursen? why we after players like this then?

Those links on the last page show some footage, and theres an interview about changes in manager mode. But what I've been searching for over the last few hours is to find out is what has changed in the game, have they fixed the stupid playon rule (if youre not using the standard config, it brings play back for every foul - even if you have the ball in the back of the net!). Is there going to be a training mode - been playing for months but i still dont know how to take free kicks (where am i supposed to practice?) Online mode - Wish I knew the skill level of my opponent before playing him so i know if i should take it easy or not. The number of people that dicsonnect soon as they go 2-0 down is ridiculous - will they be punished? whether it be losing more rank points or perhaps a 30 minute ban? most importantly can you play more than just a ranked game? how about being able to set up ranked knock out tournaments for people to enter through a lobby. Perhaps while you wait for your next opponent you can watch the ending of their game? Where do I find out information like this?

As much as I rated him, his final couple of years he was stuggling. Don't think its what we need fr where we want to go. Maybe he can link up with DO'L at Newcastle or something - I think thats where his levwl currently is. Whats happening with him at NYRB anyway?
