    Thank you. Oddly, on this bit, after next season it doesn't look like profit (or loss) will be a factor going forward - only top line income.

    What are you including in there? An additional seven home games, prize money and TV income should make us a reasonable amount and the exposure should help in terms of our visibility and presence for sponsors.

    I'd add that additionally, because of the issues around light for the housing behind the stand, that even after the CPO and road re-routing the club was forced to compromise on its design and plans at the last minute, resulting in the peculiarly cramped upper concourses of today's DE stand. It's light that's the problem in terms of building behind the stand, I think we would be able to build behind the existing Lower Ellis if we wanted to, but we'd need to buy more than a couple of rows of housing in order to stop the light restrictions on Yew Tree Road becoming an issue that would restrict our ability to expand. If we're doing that, you may as well try to get all of the land rather than just leave an awkward patch of housing tucked between a huge stand, a diverted road and a river/railway.

    Just by way of a curiosity, Wes Edens met with Joe Biden a few weeks back - it's nice to have friends with influence. https://www.politico.com/news/2024/03/20/wes-edens-biden-milwaukee-meeting-00148112 If Biden had met with Edens and Unai Emery; Unai would have had a 71 page deconstruction of his manifesto and election strategy prepared in advance and a dossier on the relative strengths of the members of his cabinet.

    Would it be fair to say that the older drivers tend to be better in the rain? It seems that way to me, and I wonder if the way that F1 has become more and more risk averse means that the younger drivers just don't get the experience in the wet anymore because F1 don't really race in the wet anymore. Of course it might just be that Alonso and Hamilton are good, but I wonder if they're the last of the drivers that will really remember driving in the rain.

    Israel has chosen retaliation over international diplomacy, Netanyahu has chosen domestic interest over international interest. So now we're on the edge of a really dangerous war with the international community pushed into a corner on whether they prefer abandoning an ally that's gone batshit crazy or starting world war III. What could possibly go wrong?

    If you watch what he's saying to Doug, he holds up his finger and says one a couple of times, I'm fairly sure he knew. I know it seems unlikely as he didn't know his arse from his elbow, but I think he booked him knowing he was giving him a second first yellow card.

    Right back. He should have been booked twice already and there have been four Villa players booked for challenges on him - he's the smartest player on the pitch and as good a right back as I've seen anywhere this season. I hate him and I think we should give them whatever they want for him in the summer.

    Four players booked for challenges with Thiago so far. Throw a fortune at Lille for him in the summer, he's been the best player in both games and he's an absolute shithouse.
