That's 3 games we were outplayed in which doesn't bode well long term, but eh, a win is a win. Hopefully this was the last match with Hogan in first XI, he tries and is hard working but just not good enough.

Think of this like Lerner and CL. We spent so much money in first years to get there, it ruined us long term, Similarly, Tony spent unprecedented money in Championship to get us back, if we don't FPP will rekt us in future years, so even though winning here is kinda nice, going up is critical, even if we would get relegated next year straighaway, the PL TV money would go long way to help our finance long term.

Well we only got in trouble with FPP under Tony so I think it's clear our overpaying of wages trend continues.

Good football so far, but let's not get ahead of ourselves, Bristol had day less rest and add to top of that the result they got from that match, I think most teams would struggle to get back from that. With how much we spent, not even getting to play-offs this year will end up in total disaster. Something's gotta change, the team has zero creativity. Bruce is probably not the problem, but he's gotta go.

Why even put Hogan on bench when you not play him in a game you're struggling.. Sack Bruce. Hire Pulis. While we are in decent position, we are flattering to deceive. I see zero improvements over last year. Just few more lucky grinded out wins. But at the end, we are grinding every single game.

Westwood is much better player at BPL level than Veretout has ever shown, far more dependable and useful. We will only get 7mn if some BPL offers, considering how Gueye turned from shit to Everton POTY, then I think someone would have a stab at Veretout as well

That is because people have come to understand that Championship has great depth of great teams and with 24 teams there will be always tough competition. Top 2 is the ultimate goal, but play-offs should be the first target to achieve.
