  1. Obviously he needs to sell up, but you'd be foolish to assume that a new owner would automatically be any better. We could end up with a QPR type owner, who does everything the fans want but everyone knows thats the last thing you should do.
  2. Want to know? After reading all 3 books i can ensure you they are worth reading if your liking the slightly tv movieish series so far.
  3. Ah too late, its poor. Not Homeland second series poor; but its still pretty bad after a cracking first series.
  4. About Time is whats called an 'acceptable chick flick' meaning you get bonus points from the good lady, when really the film is okay and quite amusing at times.
  5. All those computer generated cars as well
  6. Waste, needs to be see at the cinema. No relevance to the other Mad Max films. Its hyped because there hasn't been an action film directed so well since T2 and probably wont be for a long time as the film is odd, mass audiences will find it that little bit too weird.
  7. Fury Road is an incredible film and also bonkers and very odd, odd as in Mad Max odd; meaning it probably wont make much money Which is a shame as its been years where there is an action film that you can tell what is going on and its not edited like a music video. Every action is clear to see, who is doing what going where; seems simple but seems not to happen much.
  8. Seeing Fury Road this evening, which currently has 99% positive reviews on Rotton Tomatoes from 89 which is quite simply extraordinary, i think only Toy Story 2 gets near that. Shock horror the ONE bad review is from The Mirror
  9. From the trailers, it was clear it was going to be either absolutely brilliant or an incoherent mess. The reviews indicate the former - looking forward to seeing it.
  10. Fury Road reviews are out and shock horror seems to be universal praise across the board, with masterpiece being mentioned more than a few times, little CG as well
  11. A mess?So QPR and Hull are not in a mess because they spend a shit load more?Nonsense. Considering us and Hull finished 2 points off each other last season, Hull spending 30 million more than us this season suggests that they have more ambition than us. Let that sink in. Hull City have more ambition than Aston Villa Spending money does not automatically equal ambition and success, would you rather we were QPR, they showed 'ambition' by spending a shit load, how far did that get them? Fans show no common sense when it comes to owning a football club, if Lerner spent a shit load in the summer he would suddenly become a good owner, the sooner fans realise that the days of just spunking cash are over.
  12. A mess? So QPR and Hull are not in a mess because they spend a shit load more? Nonsense.
  13. Hull will beat Spurs though. Spurs have no interest in being in the Uefa cup, hence they've been gash for a weeks now.
  14. It's a very slow burner and well worth the time invested Mad Men slow at time, but enjoyed it a lot. Friday Night Lights fans, it has Coach Taylor in it.
  15. The NHS has to change, people live bloody ages now and people have babies all the time as well. As soon as the tories talk about this change it automatically means they are privatising it.
  16. Indeed and all should pay tax if they work, make money etc in the country. However, i think the whole rich get tax benefits under the tories is slightly exaggerated. Could it not be argued that if our tax system is more favourable than say France, a rich person is more likely to live here than in France and as they do pay some tax we are getting money off them; rather than them giving tax to another country and us getting nothing. Not as simple as that but you get my point.
  17. It was in jest, badly put apologies Stefan wasn't aimed at you. More to do with are the Tories not trying to sort out benefit culture? Are there not people out there who could work but have not because they'll get more money of the government? Is trying to sort this out a good or bad thing?
  18. Can someone explain how under the Tories the weak will suffer? By weak are we meaning lazy people that want a hand out for nothing, claiming this or that to ensure they dont have to do anything? The culture of generations of families having a kids as a living had most of its running time during a Labour government i thought? People claiming there are no jobs... what about this job in a factory..i'm not working there, okay this lad from Poland hasn't been pandered too, he's not picky he'll have your job... Foreigners taking all our jobs!
  19. I agree it really is the apocalypse, neither government would be great but with an ageing and increased population something has to change in the NHS for example, it was designed for less people and certainly less old people than it is coping with now. Benefits as well, this needs to be addressed also, perhaps not so black and white but the generations of people just having kids for a living and doing **** all started under Labour. If you can work and are just being lazy you shouldn't get benefits for that. Sweeping i know and certainly not that black and white as a lot of people need the governments help, but a help of a lot are just on the jolly.
  20. Again dont know too much but at least the tories are trying to slowly chip away at the benefits culture; rather than Labour that think its right and proper you shouldn't work if you can get enough coin of them
  21. Not sure what to do, have concerns with all the parties really. Major one currently being Labour borrowing us in to oblivion again claiming the good times. However, seems to change from day to day, i'll hate the Tories tomorrow, Lib Dems day after etc...
  22. Unfortunately i think Newcastle will get a result or 2 which will save them
