  1. Everton really are desperate. Andre Ayew?! Is he going to save them is he?
  2. -----------------------Muani----------------------------------- -----------------------------Kamada------------------------- Ramsey-----Guendouzi--Kamara-----Williams
  3. We’re not in a relegation scrap and therefore didn’t have to do stupid deals at inflated prices. West Ham have to pay Ings his retirement contract now and once they stay up, he’ll probably be surplus to requirements anyway and stuck on their bench. Couldn’t care less we got rid of Ings. I thought he was crap really anyway and we should never have signed him, Why would we replace Sanson and Nakamba? How many appearances do they have for us in the league this season? Same for Archer? Our first XI is stronger and we’ve saved ourselves some money on wages. We’ll also be in a much stronger position in the Summer to strengthen. I’d have much preferred to get rid of Coutinho and Digne this transfer window too, but I can’t see anybody touching them two. I could be wrong. I never thought anyone would take Ings off our books!
  4. If 2/3 of those players don’t work out, they’ll be in big trouble. If I’m a footballer and you’ve given me 100k a week on an 8yr deal, I’m set for life. Why even bother to perform? You’re a multi millionaire and all you have to do is turn up for training.
  5. Chelsea and maybe Bournemouth (?) aside, I don’t know of many other teams that bought that many more players than us. It was time to trim the squad and we’ll trim the squad even further in the Summer, replacing the players that leave with actual big budget quality. So what if Watkins gets injured. I imagine Ings would only have got injured himself at some point anyway. Also, he’s immobile and apart from the odd appearance of the bench, barely features. Sanson and Nakamba aren’t up to it and weren’t needed. Like I say, Id have got rid of a few more if I could. This squad hasn’t managed to finish in the top half or win a trophy over the last couple of years. Time to let go of a few and bring in players that might help us actually achieve something.
  6. Couldn’t disagree more. Our first XI has been strengthened and we’ve set ourselves up for more success in the Summer window. 9/10 for me. I kinda wanted Guendouzi is all but we’ll just go and get him in the Summer instead.
  7. Couldn’t care less about that sponsor. Of all the things wrong with football, having BK8 - whoever the f*** they are - on the front of our shirts ranks pretty low down on the list. If it means more money for us, I’m all for it because that is all that matters in this morally bankrupt sport.
  8. I’m buzzing. I’d have got rid of a few more if we could. Digne, Coutinho. Time to start again. Big Summer ahead.
  9. Not until I’ve done my loan spell in Turkey.
  10. Slows down a little? Jeez. He can’t get much slower if he tried! I’m just bored because the window is coming to a close so I thought I’d fire this thread back up again.
  11. Was hoping we’d sell him in this window. Shame.
  12. Yeh, and Duran is way better. You not seen the YouTube clips?
  13. Hector Masalis HQ. That's probably my favourite line of the window so far. Absolutely f****** superb. You know what, Hector is really growing on me.
  14. Young and Moreno are our fullbacks. If Moreno gets injured, Cash comes in and Young switches over to LB. That's fine until the end of the season. I'd rather do that than give Digne another £3,000,000 in wages.
  15. Digne and Coutinho's wages are important to get off the books. Honestly, if we could lose both this month, I still would - regardless of the small squad we currently have.
  16. Hey, I don't doubt it. Some very good goals as well. However, in those 36 appearances, he was probably abject in at least 20 of them. He's not consistent enough and he doesn't have a long term future here. But hey, I'm here for the ride.
  17. Man oh man, I used to love and hate that in equal measure. Cash would just throw him the ball and he'd whack it as high and as far to the other side of the pitch as he could. The best thing about it was, if he miscued it, it almost guaranteed the opposition striker would be in on goal. MENTAL.
  18. I can't believe I'm saying this, given the fact I think he's been very, very poor at times, but I think he actually could be quite useful in the role Bailey is playing now. The problem with both Bailey and Traore is that they're either brilliant or they look like they've never kicked a ball before. There doesn't seem to be an in between. One thing about Traore though is, he's as mad as a box of frogs on the pitch. He's fun even when he's crap.
  19. What about all those youtube videos? Any Tom, Dick or Harry can tell he's already better than a proven PL striker. Also, stop quoting Tayls, the ignore function can't block out quotes!
