  1. Don't think he got a fair crack of the whip. My only gripe is for a CM he was very one footed, similar to Hourihane. For a CM you need to be very two footed to help move the ball quicker. Glad to move him on for his own career and to create space in the squad and free up some wages.
  2. With Emery at the helm he could be like Jordan Belfort... "I'm not **** leaving"
  3. Very interesting to hear that Emery changed our tactics/shape 24 hrs before the Brighton game to adjust for the different type of player Ings is to Ollie. Previous managers would've just made the swap and said play Ollie's role.
  4. Just shows the lack of depth in the wide positions. Dunno what our last manager was thinking loaning ALL our wide players. Nothing you can do if players have injuries or niggles. Emery has picked the best team available.
  5. Love Emery's animations and instructions just on a throwing.
  6. They're pressing us well or we aren't finding the pass or space correctly
  7. Definitely shows our lack of depth in the wide positions
  8. United fans must think theyve come to an Aston Villa concert
  9. Overreacting guys. If anyone isn't pulling their weight Emery won't hesitate to sub at half time.
  10. The star should've been a separate entity. 1874 is wonky. My OCD also doesn't like that the 1874 doesn't match the font size of Aston Villa which I understand why it just doesn't look right and looks lost. Boring and get lost in all the other badges.
  11. A few hard challenges at the start of the game to make them worried about making the WC ought to do it
  12. Obsessed with this option. Why is the lion blue
  13. It's facing the other way so it doesnt look identical to Chelsea's badge.
  14. I wouldve prefered a gold lion but whatever. I like the option one but I feel its missing something.
  15. For now but won't be for long. He isnt a leader, he might have banter and a laugh with everyone but he doesnt organise anything Emery said, he doesnt know the squad well enough to change anything, wants to see what theyre like in the dressing room and pitch before making a decision. It's as if he knows what he is doing.
  16. Not sure if it's me but in that opening presser he was easier to understand than the interview. Seems alot more calm. I think the players are in for a shock. The bloke is the real deal.
