  1. There's absolutely no chance that's a clause, because it'd never be allowedWell there is obviously some kind of clause that is finance related like us having to pay money everytime he doesn't play. The deal was rushed through after the deadline and I wouldn't put anything past some of the jokers involved with our club making a balls out of the deal. Why obviously? I strongly doubt there is tbh. I think it's more down to the manager not having a clue how to organize a midfield. Think about it, though, how could the FA possibly allow a clause that means a player has to play? He could end up intentionally passing the ball to the other team and still be required by the contract to play every game I agree that's it's unlikely there is a clause that he has to play and I was most likely wrong to say that but it's very possible that there is a clause that means we have to pay money if he doesn't start or if he doesn't reach a certain amount of starts over the course of the season, clauses like that are not uncommon in loan deals. Oh, do you mean he hasnt been 'passing the ball to the other team intentionally'?
  2. he can now be signed outside the window as a free agent, too. Definitely heading to england I reckon Tim Cahill would be a good short term deal IMO.
  3. Dont understand why we dont Manure a generous offer for Cleverley......say, 200k.....maybe not, he's not worth anything like that amount. The guy has been 'using us' to keep fit IMO. No doubt he's off to Everton in the summer.....I will really miss him!
  4. I always thought loan deals within the PL was till the end of season, with no recall option available. Why is this so different, or when did the rules change? You should know by now that Manure make their own rules!!
  5. Email sent to Mr Fox.....NO more PR BS.......we've suffered far too long. We demand action NOW both on and off the pitch! EVERYONE should email Mr Fox NOW!
  6. I voted very good mate.....its because I expected to lose by at least eight with that team selection!
  7. Extremely poor made worse by an unbelievable team selection....Richardson and Cleverley in particular. Sanchez was absolutely awful today! The team that finished would be the team I would have started with except Cissokho for Richardson. Gil had another decent game. Not bothered about breaking records....they all get broken eventually. More concerned about the gutless performance. If ever a player wanted out then its Benteke showing a total lack of interest IMO. The game was tailor made for Sinclair and Gabby to start as there is little pace in the Arsenal back 4. Cissokho is a far better defender than Richardson and should have therefore started. We needed to keep it tight for 20 mins and then we would have stood a better chance!
  8. Spot on...should be played ONLY when we have no other options!
  9. What did Cleverley do in our last match that called for him to be dropped? He actually did well, Westwood is still just coming back from injury as well. As for Richardson, I can only assume that it is because he is better at getting forward than Cissokho. Cleverley should be dropped for what he DOESNT do!!
  10. Agreed....so crock him in training like we do to everybody else!!!
  11. Cleverley and Richardson....taking the pish!
  12. Chicken, roast potatoes, carrots, broccoli, peas and gravy. Chicken, roasr potatoes, carrotx, broccoli, peas and gravy
  13. This is a bit of a free hit after most of the results went our way today. With this in mind we should play a fast counter attacking game with Scott and Gabby out wide.4-2-3-1 for me. With Carlos and Fab protecting the defence, Gil CM, Scott wide left and Gabby wide right.
  14. Jack ROdwell has hardly pulled up any trees since he left the City bench Didnt realise he was a gardener!!
  15. Very big pair of Hands Jeans? Doubt if he'll ever be up in time for training, or put it this way, I wouldnt!
  16. Watching Fab's interview on Soccer Saturday was really heart-warming. You could tell that what he was saying was 100% sincere and genuine. The lad comes across as very humble, content and appreciative of all the support he has received from the club. Its very refreshing in this day and age. I'm often quite cynical.....but not in this case! Hats off to our future captain!
  17. Oh please. It's very nice to think that Fabian Delph loves AVFC as much as you do and wants to stay here forever and ever and become a club legend in a period at the club that most will hope to forget, but it's the opinion of maybe an 8 year old. Everything that has come out since he signed the contract has been retrospective posturing. Tom Fox is talking journeys. This club is on a journey. Every club is on a journey. Read the promotional literature Aston Villa send to potential sponsors about the proud history and now this journey. All sort of filters on pictures of the ground and the gates to make it look like a mystical land where the walls chant Villa. At the end of the day, you're still getting your plastic glass of beer and your pie, doing a running poo and watching Villa play really terrible terrible football. Fabian Delph was not convinced of the 'journey' Villa are on any more than I am. Sure his relationship with Villa might be worth a million to him, but no more. £3 million+ is almost the same to him as it is to you or I. I would perform a sex act on a smelly tramp every day for an entire year for £3 million. I think Fabian Delph would probably be able to handle moving up to North London for four years. d FFS mate....would you like the samaritans phone number?
  18. I can remember how a certain Mr Darren Bent was signed in very similar circumstances. Maybe this one will happen if only to help Randy to protect his investment by spending to maintain our PL status!
  19. Well, maybe fabulous Fab got wind of this level of signing before he put pen to paper on his new contract. Just saying!
  20. Ahh snap, I just commented that without seeing this first...rather does doesn't it Nah...Lambert has him in a locked room asking if he'd fancy a game of Russian roulette!
