You know you're judging managers way to fast when someone can go from "awful manager couldn't even beat a bunch of plumbers with Greece " to "managing arsenal next year" in one season. Will be fun to see how much it falls when he doesn't have 3 players turning into world class (form) players over night and staying fit the whole season. (Maybe LcFc will win the transfer market again though. So who knows)

it does make sense though. They will have nobody with off-ball pace if rumours are true about wanting to get rid of walcott. Ox, sanchez, ozil, giroud, iwobi all come to the ball. Swapping walcott for vardy and paying net 5-15m seems good business. they'll still need another striker/wide player with Ox being shit, if walcott goes and wellbeck injured.

Weve got a guy whos 26 years old and due to one good season hes going to be the consistent 6-7/10 player in his first international tourny? Fwiw, much prefer the latter in a tournament where you likely need to get super lucky throughout so would prefer to just hope variance is in our favour and the guy plays 8/10 in the more "important/tougher" games. ( It really shouldnt be drinkwater vs wilshire. It should be drinkwater vs henderson/barkley/lallana imo.

Worst episode in a long long time. Bran only getting away with 10 dead things folliwing him sucks. So much wasted screen time it looks with arya and many face god. sucks. it was mentioned on another forum but i kind of liked the idea of... pens being taking on edge of area (or on the D) during pen shoot outs. Because at the moment it is totally all about the striker and it all comes down to atm is whether the keeper guessed the right way or not (or cheat by coming off the line). At least this way, you need to increase the skill of the pen taker AND the skill of goalkeeper actually comes into the equation.

i would probably choose sturridge over rashford. Even with his injuries. (taking 5 like villachris said seems fine given rooney is basically a AM nowadays). Sturridge ability to score goals out of nothing just seems way more important than an up'n'coming young kid whos going to be all kind of inconsistent for 20 mins a game. Just try manage him off the pitch so he can be used as a sub, not for someone whos going to be playing 90 mins every game. I think we will line up exactly same way as we did against turkey And just play super safe to start of with playing 4-5-1. No idea whos going to get dropped for rooney though, basically pushing ali or rooney on the right which blows if he drops sterling..
