    I think this might've happen; OGS comes to B'ham to sort out deal, Villa doesn't officially offer contract yet and Solksjaer comes back to make things go fluently and talk to the club but Rökke reacts like 12 year old and all the shit hits the fan so Villa keeps it quiet till start of the week.

    THIS! Same here, I'd hate to see Chelski win this. The only consolation if they do beat Bayern, is that Terry didn't get to play in it and it will eat away at him for the rest of his days. That might just be worth of getting RDM as manager.

    I'd like Bayern to win because I dislike Chelsea so much, but if Chelsea loses we might end up with RDM :/

    One of the reasons why I'd want OGS (or someone who plays attacking football) rather than Lambert is that we had boring and dour direct counter-attack football for three-four years which Lambert will probably give.

    I don't think OGS will be Molde's manager much longer even if Villa won't offer him contract.

    Some posters in here have said that Lerner seems naive...I don't believe that for a second that Lerner is even remotely naive in anything, he is american billionaire businessman and he clearly likes to do things correctly but I bet he can be as shrewd and fierce as any other owner of the premier league club but he chooses not to...and who gets to meet that side of Lerner will probably regret it. I know Aston Villa fans wish that he wouldn't be as nice as he seems to be, which I sometimes hope as well but there's time and place for everything.

    As nice as Lerner looks to be, he might be one of those american business men who you dont want to f*ck with, hopefully Rökke will find that out.

    It's good that our club handles things properly and quietly until it's right time to announce contracts and signings but it can be oh-so-very-frustating.

    Was loaned with option to buy? If so, do we need to sell him if Olympiacos wants to buy and can we refuse to sell him?
