  1. Pick that out **** class goal Green you top word removed
  2. Doesn't look amazingly positive though does it? He's counting on Onomah playing box to box and Hourihane to remember how to play football for that to be attacking. Otherwise It'll be wide and then cross for a hopelessly outnumbered Davis on his own in the box.
  3. Hogan fit enough for the bench?!?! Whelan and Onomah is a good pairing, but why is Hutton playing? No O'Hare? Looks for all the world like a 4-2-3-1 doesn't it?
  4. I will be amazed if we do any smashing today. I will be amazed if we play football at all. We may win by the odd goal having a 3rd of the possession to prolong Bruce's reign. I'll go for a draw and a stay of execution for a few more days...
  5. Yes, my problem with him is that 10 months in, we sill look no closer to playing like a team, a team that knows each other's game, knows each other's roles and their own inside out. I just can't imagine one of our players playing a "blind" pass knowing 100% where the recipient is because that same movement off the ball has been worked on for ages and been repeated so many times in a game. The way it is at the moment they have to search for ages for someone in space or just lump it up the field out of desperation. Our movement off the ball is horrendous when we have a player in possession, it has been for so long it's a joke. Especially in the areas of the pitch that count, as soon as we get over the half way line support from midfield vanishes and we see to try and play with 2 or 3 players versus 5 or 6 of them, occasionally managing to smash a hopeful cross into the box when outnumbered. The problem is the quality of the football has not improved at all, he's spent money and bought his own players, he's had time, we're bottom of the league playing shit football.
  6. If we sit back, give the ball away, just try and get down the flank to hit crosses to a player who likes it to feet when we do have it etc. Then go a goal down, I'd expect VP to go in to a livid torrent of abuse. Bruce's pre-match presser has pretty much guaranteed it to be fair.
  7. I was one who said the football was awful but that he'd probably done enough to earn another window and a preseason. People didn't ignore what was happening on the pitch, I wasn't on my own, it was woeful and only kodija making the most of meagre chances got him the positive results Bruce got. The idea was that having a preseason with the group might have meant he coudl impose a better pattern of play, and stop them looking like a bunch of strangers randomly picked out the car park. Unfortunately they still do look like a bunch of strangers randomly picked out the car park and not a football team. So, he should sod off.
  8. We are entirely that one dimensional, then when the other team sets out to nullify the ball wide and stop the cross, Hutton/the RB/LB starts to look like our most attacking threat. It's just because that's where they are leaving us with the ball because they need to leave that space to kill the one dimensional attack of ours, and they are safe in the knowledge that we will do **** all with the possession.
  9. He appears to think that getting out of this league is about "fight" and "intensity" and "being at it" etc. etc. and up till a couple of years ago he may well have been right but there's a lot of teams in this league now who play actual football to a good level now. Whenever we have come up against these teams with Bruce in charge we have looked static, bereft of imagination and totally devoid of any kind of ability to keep the ball. I think time has caught up with him a bit, his appointment was sensible, his approach given the players at his disposal has not been adequate by a long way.
  10. Bruce's comments about when you go to Reading you know they are going to have the ball condemns him in my eyes. It's not like going to Barca or Arsenal. Yes, they, Brentford and others play football. That shouldn't mean you just go and set up to let them have the ball and play deep and hope for the best. We have bought a shed load of good footballers for this level and had less than a third of the ball. Ridiculous.
  11. Allardyce no, Karanka is defensive minded, guidlin would get us playign football at least, phelan if he had the right set of coaches with hi who knows, Garde would rather cut his own nads off I would think. Paolo Sousa would suit our best first 11 IMO, Likes 3 at the back and would at least attack teams....
  12. **** **** the **** **** off you ****
  13. Paolo Sousa might fit our players, we shouldn't be after another defensive minded coach though. Dean Smith is a good shout. I wish Sid wanted it I think he'd be great if he could get his head round how to work with young dickhead multi millionaires. I just hope the board looked at it over the summer and have had an eye on what to do if they needed to pull the trigger. We need to move fast if we get rid of Bruce, IMO we shoudl get rid of Bruce immediately.
  14. Nope, I'm not watching but there's no like for like there, unless Adomah has had a foot and brain transplant.
  15. just back from some mini hols, i see we are getting stuffed again. We have 3 shots on target in the last 2 league games. Bruce can still **** right off.
  16. same been having a great day up a Mountain near subiaco ruined by checking the score. 1 shot in target, Bruce can **** right off
  17. if you were already one of the really big clubs always in the champions league then yes. it's been fantastic for you.
  18. O'Hare was good, Steer too, RHM when he came on was good, Onomah needs some others on his wavelength in order to get the best out of him I reckon. Very disappointed with Hourihane, spent most of the game standing still and pointing when he could have been doing something about when we didn't have the ball and didn't look very good with the ball either. Poor as a whole, though, our 2 goals were both assisted by them, the second was offside. Took us a long time to wake up int eh second half, and whilst we carried a threat for a while we didn't score, against a league two side's second string central defence. Both first choices were injured. Not looking good, not looking good at all.
  19. Impossible conditions?!!? It's just **** raining, the pitch looks ok to be honest.
