    Why are we so worried about this being a long term strategy? We don't know if it is, or isn't. It was Wednesday's strategy, and it worked. Nothing else matters.

    U know what the best thing Clark did last night. Osvaldo was being a right ass when weinman done the tackle on shaw 93rd min. He was then running backwards up the pitch and Clark clattered into the back of him. Put a bit of manners in him. Shows it has matured and will be a leader. Take no shit, way it should be I didn't see that, have to dig it from somewhere...

    This is basically the reason why I didn't think he was so good yesterday. Also, he didn't get forward much. However, at least in the first goal, it didn't look such a dangerous place to cross to me. It was just a great header.

    Another thought: It's funny how our expectations mold our views. Isa expected Luna to be poor - he was ok - nothing to complain really. I expected Luna to be good - he was ok - not the best of games.

    Gabby's goal came when a Saints d-man made an error and Gabby got the ball, ran 30 yards towards the goal all alone, dribbled someone and just put it in. Simple, but well done. (This is what I remember) Ron pulled his calf, I heard. I don't think anything was changed in the formation really, Lowton just took Ron's place. And was not very effective, first thing that happened in the second half was a cross in from Luna's side and Lowton's guy headed it home.

    Yes Lowton looked really vunerable. I dont think we would have conceded those two goals with Vlaar on the pitch. Agree, we shouldn't play with three CB's if Vlaar is out. Formation needs to, and likely will, change for next game.
