Despite the facts that he gave away the free kick that led to the first goal, because he was behind the play and secondly was responsible for the breakdown in play that led to the second. Although clearly he is one of our better players atm, VT does make me laugh sometimes. Goal last week, Guzan rolls ball to Amavi, Amavi loses it - Guzan thread jumps 10 pages with people calling for him to be replaced and at fault for the goal, Amavi thread jumps 2 pages with people gushing over him being our best player despite 1 little error. Goal this week, Amavi caught out of position needlessly fouling a player 25 yards from goal and the resulting free kick flies into the top corner - Guzan thread jumps a few pages with people bemoaning his awful positioning, and he was at fault for the goal, Amavi thread continues to be filled with people gushing over him being our best player and only 1 person mentions his part in the goal Us football fans are a funny lot sometimes Special thanks to both of you for bringing this thread back to normal VT standard.

We was 2-1 up then 2-2, it was looking Gestede was never gonna get a goal, so what about bringing Kozak on when we are struggling to put away our 20 shots. Or was Sherwood happy with the draw. Sure, Tim could've subbed Gestede for Kozak. Or subbed Bacuna for Gil earlier. Which could, or could not, have made a difference. He decided to believe in his players, which was ok for me. We were comfortable all game and should've won.

He's lost his confidence again.

People play too much FM. In real life a manager can't react to everything his opponent does. You have to believe in what you do. Making subs when we're leading, and doing very well... it just doesn't make any sense.

I think Grealish would have done more than Adama to win the game, they defended deep so guile would have been more likely to "unlock" them than pace Jack or Adama. Both in their own way.

You are right, it does sound awful Gestede, for me, wasn't purchased as a number 1 striker. We're still waiting for that player, although we are running out of time True. It was Adebayor, but now we're possibly not getting anyone...

Did ok, but didn't really change anything. We were doing well before he came on, just like we did after he came on. Frustratingly poor touch at a vital moment.

No blame on Tim from me, we did easily enough to win. Just didn't score (enough). Richards is so good, I love him. Feel so sorry he didn't score, he would've deserved it. Sanchez was very good aswell. He made one mistake, got to the wrong side of his man, and boom it's a goal. Ciaran, I'm sorry to say this but you need some time off. Come back stronger. Sinclair, Hutton, Amavi, Gana, Westwood all did well. We need a goal scorer, as we all know. Adama would've won us the game, but we ahould've won it anyway.

He could maybe bring on some players that could put the chances away like kozak, Ayew or Cole.... Don't sound like goal scorers to me.
