Almost impossible with our gd !

In the context of this season - where relegation has been a significant possibility for weeks\Months - finishing 9th - or 14th is meaningless. I certainly wouldn't be wishing wigan had equalised last night (as you implied a couple of posts back)- as that would help us get 9th place. I think you would be the only Villa fan in the country willing a wigan equaliser last night. haha actually im not in the country .. But hopefully will be in the chelsea game .. I actually were in the airplane last night and we took off after the first half .. And had a discussion with one the crew who support spurs .. He saw me wearing villa shirt and started discussion .. I told him we are in trouble if wigan won .. And i told him please smash sunderland .. Anyways .. I didnt know the scenario and a swansea winning pleased me a lot ! But before that i was aiming for a draw .. The only case it would make difference is if wigan had a draw with arsenal .. Ofcourse safety is important .. But it wouldnt have changed a lot .. Anyways you are right about safety .. But seeing our performance i really wanted top 10 spot which is still available ..

To say 9th is meaningless .. it isnt accurate .. it would be even when we were shit .. we just been once out of the top ten recently ..

What - ? - You would raher wigan have an extra point - so we have some outside chance of getting a meaningless 9th place ? As long as they lose to arsenal then we are ok anyway .. and im thinking of three points against chelsea .. we really have to pay our dept ..

Bent . Hutton . Ireland . Maybe nzogbia . From 8 to 10 millions .. Loan bannan gardner bennet and some others with recall if needed .. and get 4 to 5 quality players .. Hopefully 10th .. with 44 or 46 .. Realistic 12th or as we are 13th with 43 .. But who knows ? We have two depts to be paid in the next 2 games!

I think the yesterday result was the great .. but I also think the ideal result was a draw .. if we were safe I wouldnt like to go down .. and also if we beat chelsea somehow we would have a chance to finish 9th ..

Im not used to write with phones especially these touch but I began to use them .. I think a draw would be ideal .. it would let wigan 4 points away .. same with swansea if we somehow managed to beat chelsea and aimed for 9th or 10th ..

I think we really need to look on Southampton and Sunderland result .. If they managed to go to the last round with less than 40 points then we're mathematically safe ! Unlikely though for Stoke to beat the two of them or draw with Sunderland and win on Southampton ..

The problem with Lichaj is he isn't as good in the LB .. I think Enda should be tried instead of Bennet ..

I was at the Carrew Road last night .. But what a game from Gabby ! We missed some silly chances but the important we had which is 3 points ! I think the penalty was silly but still didn't see the replay .. Still not safe yet .. But hopefully we stay at the end .. and maybe with a good position ! Snodgrass played us .. ~_~ I thought maybe if Sylla wass in the left because of Snodgrass would have been better .. Every time he holds the ball I'm afraid from a card or an assist !

We really really need to win this one ! Hoping for the best !

Starting to get little nervous .. When I realize that a Wigan win + Villa lose make them just 2 points far from us ! With one game ahead ! Come Villa ! Let's do our job an win at the Carrew Road !

My first away day was against Arsenal two years ago .. One of the best games I ever attended !

I didn't see Beye a lot .. But he wasn't bad against Chelsea ,, Was he ?! The problem with him was that he used to take a lot of money .. without playing !! Same as of MON players .. But for him he just played a countable minutes !

Look how that team had ended that season ?! Actually it was the second old average players in the league if I'm not mistaken .. Any manager if he stocked with that team would struggle .. So Lambert took his path and changed the whole team .. Because it was going to struggle anyway .. Struggling with hope better than struggling with nothing !

Apart from us being afraid from them and lost from the first minutes ?! Well .. Who knows .. Some times these loses make you much stronger .. and look at our results from then to now !

I'm not so sure. Wigan at least are playing well, Newcastle are awfull. Newcastle need 3 points .. I'm afraid they could get it from West Ham or QPR .. But let's hope they don't .. Anyways we need to do our job then worry from Newcastle ! I'm afraid that we said about Stoke and Sunderland .. And they're winning 2 in bounce from nowhere !
