5th !! Great job Liverpool !

Well .. I think our losing in the OT .. + 2 Sundeland wins could make us beat them .. Most of us are fearing them now .. And they have a lot of confidence now .. But the whole thing could be twisted with us winning this and putting a good performance ! Maybe their two wins could be good for us after all !

But needing it from Wigan would be terrifying !

It's that they're and important factor in the race ! Just assume we went to the final game with : Southampton 39 .. Sunderland less than 39 .. Us 40 ?! Even if Wigan were Above 36 .. We will be safe before that .. As just one of those two would be more than 40 points !

I wanted Stoke to lose today .. Actually I realized that I want this lately or atleast a draw .. but who knows maybe somehow it would be better for us ?! Anyways it's great that Southampton lost and Wigan drew .. and Hopefully Newcastle lose now .. and we win in Monday .. Southampton have three important games against Spurs, Stoke and Sunderland !

I'm happy by the dramatic draw ! A lose for Wigan would have been perfect .. I'm now thinking that Norwich Vs Stoke hasn't really gone our way ! A win against Sunderland is really important now ! Baggies did a great result ! Hope they win or their rest games ..

Not really .. he took a bad team with just 37 points last year .. to change that directly it's really hard !

I think Stoke winning is not really Ideal for us !! They'll need to play Sunderland and Southampton ! Anyways Sunderland game has become a must win now !!

Wigan usually wins once against Spurs .. But to win two !? Well .. I'm really afraid now .. a win against Sunderland is a must ! Baggies are doing well till now .. 3-0 up .. Hopefully we could rely on them to beat Wigan .. not sure though .. Wigan seems to play well .. Stoke are also doing well by winning till now !

If they were 39 I would have said yeah .. but 40 and with their GD I don't think so .. Because if you want Fulham to go Down .. We need to beat Sunderland and Norwich + Getting something from Chelsea .. Stoke to Beat Norwich and Draw with Sunderland .. Sunderland to win Southampton .. Southampton to win Stoke or Spurs or West Brom .. Newcastle to win and draw in their coming game .. Norwich to win one game .. Wigan to win 3 and draw one .. + Fulham to lose all !! We might be in a little danger if we were 40 because of the GD .. But I think they don't have to ! Lol .. When I read my posts .. I realize that I spend a lot of time staring at the fixtures and the table !

Hahaha .. Let's see .. But isn't it hard now to do a new chelsea or Man City ? I'm not saying that they'll go down .. But as I said in some of my post some pages back .. If they lose to West Brom .. I think it would be very benefit for us ! They have Spurs .. losing that too .. and us winning our next two then we're above them ! Not only that .. they have Stoke and Sunderland after that .. If Sunderland and Stoke have been below us by two or three points let's say .. Then the two of them has Spurs and the Saints .. If Spurs and West Brom manage to win their next games .. It would be as important as Villa games ! Actually if Spurs Won their game .. The three of Southampton , Stoke and Sunderland would be getting points against each other ! That's why I really think we need to look in Southampton results too !

We have a lot of midfielders but at the same time we're really struggling in that area ! I think Westwood has cemented his spot ! Other two are a choice from : Delph .. Sylla .. N'Zogbia .. Bannan .. KEA .. I think if Gardner comes back .. Maybe a trio of : Sylla .. Westwood .. Gardner .. Would be solid ?! For now .. I think I would start KEA against Sunderland .. the same team who he missed his place for in our away game with them !

Everybody seem to rule out Newcastle from the race ! Well I know they're the most quality team down there but they're still there .. I think they're a team which we may look to .. I know they could get something out of Liverpool and Arsenal and they are capable .. They are favoured to get points from QPR .. Unpredictable for West Ham .. Even Southampton could get back to it ! If they lost their next two and we won !

Papillon .. I'm not sure if anyone is referring this kind of fans to you .. Actually I don't think anyone who travel to watch a Villa game "even if it's just an away game" wouldn't consider as a true Villa fan .. Because we're losing more than winning for almost three years now ! Here in Saudi and I think most of Arab countries .. most of people supports Real Madrid ,Barcelona and then maybe United .. Due to the TV because the Spanish league is less expensive and in the same channel they have Italian and CL .... etc While the only league in Abu Dhabi channels is the Premier League .. and Strangely it's more expensive .. So not everyone could watch it .. anyways many of those people just watch the Classico .. And consider themselves as true fans .. What I found is that most of those who support the struggling teams .. Have the most real fans ! Which would like to go and watch their team whoever they play .. For me .. It's better to go and watch let's say Villa x Reading game than Villa x Man Utd as the first is easier for winning ! Well I'm talking about myself because I couldn't come every game .. Couple of games a season by travelling one or two times to the UK .. If I talked about this I may not finish .. But I hope you got my point ..

Norwich last season also shipped goals for fun. It's something that needs serious work if Lambert is to become a top manager. Even this year Norwich are shipping goals !

Well .. I think we're having bad defences in three years now ! Although it was somehow better last year with Mcleash .. Anyway I think if we survived this year .. We could manage to be a better side even in defence .. Because everytime there is a change in the manager .. hopefully this time we stay with Lambert and have some stability ..

There are other factors that would point towards a better performance next season: - Lambert knows his squad better - Foreign players have (hopefully) settled in - The younger players have experience in the PL - New faces in the transfer window - Departing deadwood providing some better options Fundamental point: We have four games left this season, a summer break and a short pre-season before next season's matches start up again so, in terms of our current squad, what you have now in terms of experience and performance is basically what we will start next season with. Well .. I think with what we're having now .. We could do something ! We're playing good and getting some results .. and put in mind that we're in the relegation battle so it's somehow usual that the confidence of players wouldn't be high .. And having mistake every game makes it worse and worse .. + It's not just about experience .. Dortmund had their league 2 time in sequence without experience ! We had the 2nd oldest team last year yet we did mistakes and conceded from set pieces .. The year before with Downing and Young wasn't that far too ! This is pure speculation and can't be used as an argument that the current squad will improve. It depends who is bought and who leaves (Benteke, Weimann, Lowton, Westwood?) If we could let those four who you said stay + Guzan .. And try to have a solid DM , CB and a winger .. I think we could have a great season .. I would like to see also a good playmaker .. What makes me feel happy is that Lambert a manager who you could trust in bringing players .. Even if they weren't that good .. Atleast it will not put you in a bad financial situation .. + He get's players from outside the country which MON and Mcleash didn't do !

Maaan .. Looking at the fixtures ! I think we need to support the Baggies and Spurs till the end of the season ! Spurs have 4 games against relegation teams .. While Baggies have 3 !

Maybe his confidence somehow gone down after Fulham game !? Although I'm not really sure if I'd rest him for Sunderland or start him ?!

If we managed to win Sunderland game and matched their points .. I think there is a good chance we could pull 5 or even 6 teams to the race again ! But could we win the game ?! That's another question ! After checking the fixtures I think I'm more comfortable .. But the fear is still there !!
