  1. That's great to hear Gazton, more importantly does PL see him as part of his plans?
  2. I'm with you on this. For the last couple of seasons has been either mismanaged by the frenchman or stifled by he who's name should not be mentioned. I would love to see him play under Lambert as i think he will bring the best out of Ireland.
  3. Wonderful news - god bless you Stan
  4. Are you going for Warnock based on his experience cause i wouldn't say he was any better than Stevens today... Warnock was far better than Stevens today.
  5. There is no race at Musselborough today as far as I can tell. If you mean Wexford then go for Fairy Catcher. But I guess that you are the one taking some proverbial Unfortunately being in receipt of some information in advance of it being in the public domain means that sharing it with a wider audience on here also means that people that one may prefer n ot to share it with also have sight of it too. C'est la vie. EDIT : BOF apologies you removed the post as I was submitting I guess... Actually just got a tip for the 5.15 in Wexford. Wrong Way Corrigan Sack your tipster dude, WWC came second !
  6. Whats wrong with that? It actually makes a lot of sense. Not that I like Dunne or Collins (Or Warnock). But they are not the worst defenders you could find. Seconded, however replacing Collins with Clark and Hutton with Lichaj or Lowton would be a massive improvement.
  7. Some questions I have always wanted to ask you, are you quite old, and do you drive an ice cream van? Do you like to roam the land?
  8. Sounds good to me. That s interesting. This time last year I rated Clark as the most likley to have an impact. It didn't happen for him. He seems to have had a terrible run with injuries - and for that reason I wouldn't gamble on him being the preferred centre half next season. I always thought that you need experience at CB - so would have thought Lambo would probably keep one of Dunne and Collins - preferably Dunne. I wonder if Lambo will sign a £1 - £2m rated CB - and leave him and Clark to fight it out for the first team place. We shall see. Doesn't seem like anything is imminent though. Great point. I've always thought Clark would benefit from a season or two playing alongside an experienced player and out of the two of them Dunne would be my preference over Collins. Granted Dunne can be rash but he's a better option than Collins. As we appear to be heading into the season with at least one if not two new players in the back 4 then I think we will need the experience of Dunne in the short term whilst the new faces gel. IMO Clark is a genuine talent and hopefully he will cement his place in the team this coming season.
  9. Wasn't trying to point score, your comment about the away shirt being so awful stuck out at the time as you were very outspoken in your views. Sometimes your posts are well constructed and balanced, however alot of the time you appear quick to dismiss the opinions of other posters in a curt and abrupt manner. I'm not sure if you intend to appear to be outspoken or not but it does come across like that at times. It's not meant as a criticism more an observation. As you'll be wearing the away shirt at the Burton game i'll be able to put a face to a name. Enjoy the game.
  10. Yes you will, are you in the seats or standing area?
  11. I'd have Milner back in a heartbeat. Shame it's very unlikely to happen though.
  12. So you're popping into the shop on saturday before going to the Burton game? Changed your mind then have you?
  13. So exactly how did he take the piss out of the fans and club? You make plenty of headline statements without any evidence to support your claims. Your bold prediction that Bent would be a Liverpool player by 1st July being just one of them.
  14. A valid point but unfortunately there are some that won't recognise that.
  15. A player working his bollocks off every game is what's wrong with the club? Hardly. Yet you want Gabby to stay and he's on similar wages but really doesnt put any effort in whatsoever. Agree 100%. Gabby looked totally disinterested from Christmas onwards whereas Ireland grew in confidence and work rate. CI has an agenda against Ireland and no matter how well he performs he cannot offer any credit when it's due.
  16. Seriously doubt it. He heard it from a couple of suited guys in Tesco...
  17. It's OT i know but what evidence do you have to support your comment? Swansea, QPR & Everton all at home What was unprofessional about those games? . I will let you work that out Is that because your statement is groundless then?
  18. It's OT i know but what evidence do you have to support your comment? Swansea, QPR & Everton all at home What was unprofessional about those games? Granted he was poor in 2 of them but what was so unprofessional about them? Are you saying that anyone who plays badly is unprofessional? If so then the same could be labelled against almost every player at one stage or another last season.
  19. It's OT i know but what evidence do you have to support your comment?
  20. Agree with you JulieB, I'm no Hutton fan but on occasion last season he was ok and at least put some effort in unlike one or two others. Having attended 90% of last seasons games I thought Warnock had a good end to the season, especially when we were knee deep in the mire. But he like Hutton will never receive any credit from a section of fans when it is merited.
  21. A mate of mine was staying at the same complex as Hutton in Dubai 3 weeks ago. Hutton was still wearing the protective boot round his ankle so maybe he was in the treatment room rather than out on the turf yesterday?
  22. I don't think Guzan is going to be good enough to be first choice for us - he's never fully convinced me that he's capable of developing into a top drawer keeper.
  23. We get the message you don't like the kit.
  24. Agreed, my eldest son has that top whilst my youngest has the home shirt and the leisure top gets more favourable comments than the home shirt. Will be interesting to see what the feedback is when his away shirt drops through the letter box next week.
  25. I hope and expect so. Well I'll be continuing it until he has won this battle and I'd expect everyone else to as well. Ditto
