    Can’t disagree more. Nyland is far better than Reina, it’s one of his attributes. Reina is well past his best and far too slow.

    Fair play Wedge, appreciate your response and apologies for the curtness of mine. I would add that Nyland this season has been much better than the Nyland we witnessed last season.

    You assume wrong, and having witnessed every Reina performance since he joined us I’m happy in my opinion of his performances. Several times against Saints he played hospital balls to both full backs. I’d say your assumption that I’d prefer a keeper to just lump it forward is embarrassing.

    Reina is a liability, aside from the howler at Leicester he was poor against Bournemouth and Saints. His distribution is questionable at best, he’s well past his prime. Nyland and Steer should be ahead of him in the pecking order.

    Off topic but Keith Leonard was another who could’ve gone on to be a big star for us had it not been for injuries. The days of Gray, Little and Deehan as our strike force

    Certainly audible in the Trinity Rd stand. Awful tackle by Ally Brown, that was probably the start of my dislike for Sandwell Town.

    We wait until average blokes like me can go back to some sort of normality like visit my parents grave, get a haircut or go and see my partner. I have friends that work in the NHS on Covid wards and I know the fear they have going to work every day. I’ve been a season ticket holder for over 45 years, follow Villa home and away, it’s in my DNA. Until I can go back to doing normal things then frankly I find it immoral and obscene that football should be restarting.

    Brighton have an awful run in and under normal circumstances I’d back us to finish above them. However when you factor in behind close doors, how long it’s been since teams trained/played, neutral venues etc it’s an absolute lottery.

    So we know you don't rate Smith and you believe we deserve to be relegated. What if we’d sacked him after Leicester and appointed for arguments sake Benitez, would you still bang the drum about us deserving to go down?

    Came across very well - Interestingly he refers to wanting the title to be decided but no mention of relegation. Happy he’s representing us rather than a number of his predecessors.
