  1. if we did the stadium redevelopment and reduced attendances and income then us hosting a "home" game in the states would make perfect sense
  2. I've just realised it could be a repeat of the bayern vs dortmund final at Wembley, that'd be a good game with hopefully dortmund winning this one
  3. Psn games on the 7th are fifa 24, ghost runner 2, tunic and destiny 2 lightfall
  4. Cheese Melted cheese especially makes everything better, never actually tried it, eaten cheese on toast with beans plenty of times but never gone full English with it Maybe some sort of grilled cheese would work too
  5. Yep, for the NFL there is a designated home team who give up a game to host it in Europe instead, I'm pretty sure that team goes on more of a charm offensive too, the promo stuff is weighted towards the home team The match day revenue will be higher than 50% of PL stadiums, ours included, we would earn more money from playing a "home" game in say new york than we would from VP and that's before you factor in the potential fanbase growth etc It's coming, they just seem to be making a hash as to how it's introduced, a 39th game isn't going to happen, all 20 teams playing a game abroad won't be the starting point, moving any cup game away from the Wembley cash cow won't happen in If they suggest 1 game as a tester it'll be something like crystal palace vs man utd and it will be a huge success leading to more and more, NFL have done it for 17 years now and they've done so much testing it's pretty impressive, east coast teams, historically bigger teams, West Coast teams, different kick offs, random games, important games, rival games, shit games... And I think everything has worked
  6. Dyche is doing exactly what you would expect there, I'd even go as far as to say that if you went back to when he was appointed the majority on here predicted it He's kept them up, he would have got them to 10th to 15th it wasn't for the points deduction, he will get them comfortably 10th to 15th next season... All while playing a brand of football which is **** painful let alone garbage and has absolutely no future or anything to get excited about which for me is only slightly better than Steve Bruce... But if your ambition is stay up then it's a great job
  7. Same as last week - the 39th element of it kills it before it even begins A regular game will happen one day though It'll be the same set up as the NFL international series
  8. Seemingly everyone has FFP and PSR issues So we can fully expect another £2bn odd spent this summer
  9. It's going to be the new way of feeding the transfer window bullshit machine isn't it? The clubs will no doubt play the game too, easy way to temper expectations, cover why they cashed in on big names players
  10. The thing with casually throwing out just sell JJ or Luiz or any of our starters... Who do people think they're going to join? Especially for £50-60m Theyre not going to Crystal Palace... If we sold JJ I think it would be to Liverpool, a team we're competing with and all sat expecting them to drop off giving us a huge chance to overtake them, and he'd no doubt be class there The clubs coming in for our players would be Liverpool, utd, Chelsea, arsenal, spurs - it's a proper **** dangerous game, these players would make the teams we're trying to finish above better
  11. Would bang Seems strange that I'm desperately trying to pick fault whilst at the same time thinking **** hell I'd smash that what sausages are those? That'd probably all I've got
  12. I would Everything that's wrong with modern football
  13. €55m + 10m for a barca player? You're mugging them off for lamal not Raphina, absolutely not a chance are we after hin for that number
  14. People were too busy laughing their tits off and screaming bottlers to look at what actually happened to arsenal last season, lack of depth killed them, especially at CB, even this year with timber effectively doing what mings has done we've got more depth in defence than they have Carlos is fine for the role that he will have next year There's some sort of weird myth around the CL kicking out the idea that we need some sort of £50m+ International player as back up if we're going to cope vs Sparta Prague
  15. I think come next year he's going to be quite solidly 4th choice behind Pau, konsa and mings Id like us to pick up a say 19 year old developmental player (assuming kerr, swinkels and feeney won't happen) but shopping to replace a 4th choice CB is a waste of time and money
