Is the tone in the room dismissive/snarky like the notes read or is it cordial/ decent? I think I read from one of the last FAB meetings it was ok in the room, just wondering if this was the same @OutByEaster?? Heck not being there seems a slap in the face though? The supporter groups aren’t worthy of his time, doesn’t matter if the COO is, he’s the public face of the back office not Hatton. Thanks for the update.- 5 replies

I would rule it out…just because we have strong links with an agency doesn’t mean we are going to take on their weaker players with great expense. We can’t afford to use budget on players that add nothing.

Figured it out….have no seats, people sit on the concrete slab, means you can squash loads more people together just like the benches at school when we were kids. Easily an extra 1,000 people then.

We also have to not react so badly after every game or couple of games and trust the mid to longer term that Emery continues to improve us and move forward. The negative reactions so often towards the end of the season after games that we had from some was wildly too far and out of context of how far this team has come, the injuries and tiredness we had and the continuing progress we continue to make. One or two results don’t make a season, we are going to have lows and we shouldn’t react so much because I believe under Emery that the highs will be higher and more often. We take the blows, not over react and enjoy the highs.

I wonder if there is any proper Villa fan that isn’t happy about this? There is always going to be one daft idiot but to have 99.9999% of fans delighted after 20 months in charge is a new thing for me being a Villa fan. We normally are a majority after 2.5 years of wanting whatever manager out.
