Thu New England @ NY Jets

Thu Houston @ Detroit (not confident)

Thu Washington @ Dallas

-

Sun Tennessee @ Jacksonville

Sun Minnesota @ Chicago (toss up)

Sun Oakland @ Cincinnati

Sun Pittsburgh @ Cleveland (Might be wrong here)

Sun Atlanta @ Tampa Bay

Sun Seattle @ Miami

Sun Denver @ Kansas City

Sun Buffalo @ Indianapolis

-

Sun Baltimore @ San Diego

Sun San Francisco @ New Orleans

Sun St Louis @ Arizona

-

Sun Green Bay @ NY Giants

-

Mon Carolina @ Philadelphia

Hmm, that's 9 road wins against 7 home wins. Another tricky week. I suspect Philly, Tampa and even Miami could throw a spanner in the works.

3 differences this week AVFC1991. You've gone Tampa, Baltimore & Philly, I've gone Atlanta, San Diego, Carolina.

We have our first playoff clinch scenario

Texans clinch playoffs with a win, Titans loss/tie, Dolphins loss/tie, Jets loss/tie and either

* Bengals loss & Chargers loss/tie

* Bengals loss/tie & Steelers loss

There's an interesting and plausible AFC playoff scenario which came to my attention:

* Broncos and Patriots win out, to each go 13-3

* Ravens win out, except for loss to Broncos, to go 13-3

* Texans win all except for loss to Patriots and one other, to go 13-3

The Broncos, Patriots, Ravens, and Texans would be the division winners, obviously, in that scenario.

Because this would be a repeat of last year's division winners, there's a full minileague of games:

For #1 seed, head-to-head

Broncos: beat Ravens, lost to Patriots and Texans => 1-2

Patriots: beat Broncos and Texans, lost to Ravens => 2-1

Ravens: beat Patriots, lost to Texans and Broncos => 1-2

Texans: beat Broncos and Ravens, lost to Patriots => 2-1

Broncos and Ravens eliminated (the tiebreaker rules allow multiple clubs to be eliminated in one step, but only one club can advance in a step)

Patriots beat Texans, so are the #1 seed

For #2 seed, head-to-head

Texans: beat Broncos and Ravens...

Texans are the #2 seed

For #3 seed, head-to-head

Broncos: beat Ravens...

Broncos are #3 seed

Ravens would be the #4 seed, despite a 13-3 record

Mo-Jo may be back this week and if they can play as well as they did against Houston then the Jags could sneak one this weekend.

It's all about Florida @ Florida State for me anyway this weekend . I have a few FSU fans on FB who love the trash talk .
