So, if he goes, but we are relegated, do people see attendances rising ?

Certainly do, I was one of those in 40,000+ crowds at VP when we were in the old 3rdDivision - get a team that can win and play good football and the fans will be back, unlike those plebs in Small Heath

That was when it was all standing, so more people could be crammed in. Not reflective.

Yeah, and it was like 2d to get in not £40

Not quite 2d but I see your point - HOWEVER, it was even cheaper in 1967 when we got relegated with crowds in the region of 16,000.

In any event cheapest ST are now about £285 and god forbid we go down tickets will hardly beat the £40 mark will they?

The cheap ST in the Championship works out at £12.40 a game!!!!!!

How about a rendition of a slightly amended last chorus of Rainbow's track 'Since You've Been Gone'

All together now, you know the tune:

Since you been gone, since you been gone

I'm outta my head, can't believe it

Could I be wrong, but since you been gone

Everything’s better, so I’ll milk it

Oooohhh - Whhooooaaa - Ooooohhh

Ever since you been gone
