GeorgeVilla82 Posted February 9, 2012 VT Supporter Share Posted February 9, 2012 Hawksmoor Seven Dials is really good for steak, posh burgers etc and close to all the theatres. Slightly more informal but great atmosphere - Polpo, Da Polpo or Spuntino in Soho/ Covent Garden - no reservations but there's a bar area where you can wait. Les Duex Salons also does a great pre- or post-theatre menu.

Xann
Yalla Yalla - Eastcastle St (parallel Oxford St) - Lebanese, you can get a load of little dishes to share or a full on plate if you fancy. Bodeans - D'arblay St - US style meat grill, ribs, pulled pork, steak, their own range of bbq sauces, yum - I'd eat there more often if the girlfriend wasn't veggie. Grand Bazaar - James St - Turkish, the platter you get on the set menu is immense! Newman Arms - Rathbone Street - Specialising in pie.
tonyh29
I always head to china town when I'm in town But then given the chance I'd eat Chinese 7 days a week
CI
China Town can be a bit pricey and geared at tourists There's a great Chinese in bayswater down by whitelys, always full with Chinese young and old Crap cant recall name but it's like Ching Ying Gardens but on another level
