Oh bloody hell Bicks, I don't think the well is actually in the Shadow Hold at all, but in the middle of Jaedanar somewhere. Looked on Alakhazam, and there are follow ups where you have to douse the flames and kill the blokes inside. So basically everything we did last night was just practice! Nice XP and the chance to bash a few heads of course!

Yes the well is above the ground, not below it. You're right the follow up qs take you underneath, and I'd advise you to do the escort q as its good xp, just watch out for the elite at the end!

How much does killing a hunters pet piss the pet off?

Some lowbie Hunter asked me for a duel earlier, and i just feared him at the start, and killed his pet just for comedy, and he really took it up the arse!

Anyone on late tonight? Ill be on when i get home from work. 1:30am.

I doubt I'll be on when you get in Nayson. I'll be IN-MA-BEEEEEEED.

Got lucky today in that Strat run as my Shadowcraft Pants droped (ooh err) from Baron. So now I'm 4/8 on my Shadowcraft armour set. It's coming along faster than I anticipated.

You go an unusually long time without a crit.

2500shadow3pc.th.jpg

Then this happens!

Oh, and Dan, This is the Weapon Switch mod ive got

I just use it to change between two wands. One for when im casting spells, one for when im out of mana and need the wand.

It would be a lot more useful for a daggers/swords swap.

You can play with it using the following commands.

Usable Commands

- All commands must be proceeded by a /ws call. for example /ws show

- /ws show - Shows the weapons frame

- /ws stop - Stops the weapons frame

- /ws set2 - Configures weaponSwitch to use 2 sets

- /ws set3 - Configures WeaponSwitch to use 3 sets

- /ws rangedon - Configures WeaponSwitch to use ranged slot

- /ws rangedoff - Configures WeaponSwitch to not use ranged slot

- /ws silent - Turns WeaponSwitch's announcements on or off

- /ws help - Command list in game

Then you just press ESC, assign a key to the weapon swap, and you are away. I removed the dragons from the interface bar, and dragged the box down into the corner, with it on (bottom left of my screenshot) . Then the first time i equipped a set of weapons normally, they went into the top box, then i equipped my second set of weapons normally, and they went into the bottom box. I just now press my bound key (im using the comma, my 33rd hotkey!) to change the weapons. Its sweet as.

Yep, I've got a similar mod for my stances (Defensive, Berseker and Battle) I basically hit the buttons and the mod changes the weapon sets too, so If i'm down to low health I hit the Defense stance and it switches over to sword and shield which gives me a couple of k extra armour and helps me survive a bit longer while I'm running off in BG

Oh and Nays...did it die? :winkold:

It is, and I can't wait either! I still get far more enjoyment from doing instances and other stuff with VTers than strangers. We've all "grown up" together, and have seen each the other characters develop and learn. Even the stupid arguments are part of the fun in my opinion.

Expect Dan will be L60 before the new year starts, with Tarj not far behind him, and me and Bicks a little bit behind that. The good thing is Limpid's not far off getting his mount now (and presumably Juju too) so at least they can travel round with us as well.

Helped a L10 noob out in Durotar last night. He was about to get on the Zep as he thought it went to the Crossroads! Showed him where the FP was in Orgri, then walked him all the way to the Barrens. Aaargh, it took for bleedin' ever! Bearing in mind I haven't had to walk anywhere since L20, I'd forgotten just how long it took to get anywhere on foot.

I still remember mine and Sies run of fun from Orgrimmar to Thunder Bluff.

Seems an absolute age ago now. God knows how long it would take on foot. 20-30 minutes?

Makes me think back to the first night Si showed me round. He came all the way to Valley of Trials, then took me from there to Orgri and Crossroads to get the flightpaths. He then took me on the Zep (after rescuing me after I fell off!) to UC, and got me the flight paths in UC and Silverpine too.

And coughed up 50 silver too (which seemed like a fortune in those days of 10 copper for killing a mob!). Now it costs me nearly 4G for a sharpen up after an instance!

Ah the WoW memories! I remember dinging L20 and venturing into contested areas for the first time with Tarj, and trying (and failing) to beat up a couple of ally hunters.

Any other first time experiences from the rest of you? How about the first time you got ganked Dan? Or has that not happened yet?! :crylaugh:

Yeah this game isn't really a game, its an alternate life, for me anyway. I've been through alot in the 3 months I've played it, cheers for introducing me to it Nays, and cheers for making sure I stuck with it Si by showing me the ropes.

I can't imagine how much worse this game would have been if I'd been on a different server to everyone else. I suppose I'd have to walk up to a stranger and say: "Can I be your friend?"

Hehe, too true. Don't think I'd have played it for more than a week without you lot. It just seemed too huge at first, it was nice to have people to do stuff with. Felt sorry for the lad last night, as he clearly didn't have a clue what he was doing, and nobody to show him.

Anyway, back to the "noob comment of the week" award!

This week's winner is.............Bicks!

His contribution went something like this........"In the AH, you've a tab for browsing, a tab for auctions, what's the "bids" tab for?"

I've got to admit I only joined Deathwing because of you lot. I couldn't be bothered to join the one my mates are on as they are bit power crazy and I don't think I would have had half the fun I've had so far. (Plus they're Allies)

Nays is right, Rogues do pwn Warlocks (when they actually find them that is).

I just 3 hitted a level 60, and they weren't even good hits. Nays check the combat log and you can see where he went wrong (ignore all my small numbers, thats just auto-melee ;))
