villa4europe
Thought I'd start a new thread to try and capture all the various stats that I'd seen kicking around following the game - 14 home games won in a row - we've actually done it twice before in 1903 and another year in the 30s which I can't remember It's also the best start to a season since we won it 2 shots on target is the lowest any pep team has ever had (in 500+ games) Villa won the ball 13 times in citys half which is the highest vs Peps city Villas 13 shots in the first half is the highest any team has had vs peps city Anyone seen any more? Mark Albrighton Posted December 7, 2023 VT Supporter Share Posted December 7, 2023 Not a new record set, but a step closer. Quote Villa, up to third in the Premier League table, have now tasted defeat just once in their last 13 matches and are one victory shy of equalling a club-record 24 top-flight wins in a calendar year.
