Manning coming back in when he did, and the subsequent boost it gave us, coupled with the extra week's rest for him, might just might be the pep we need. There's no doubt we've stumbled into the playoffs from a form point of view, and the Pats inexplicably handed us the #1 seed. But that 4th quarter against the Chargers (of all teams too) might be huge in the context of our post-season.
