  1. My Spurs supporting mates slate Levy, theyve just all convinced themselves its Levys fault.

In the Premier League before Levy arrived they had never finished above 7th and 6 of the 9 preceding years were 10th or below.

Levy became Chairman in December 2001 and in the full 21 seasons he has been there they have:

    Top 6 14 times (7 of those top 4)

Not finished below 8th since 2009.

That consistency has bread the expecation to challenge, they are closer than most but to blame Levy for not is ridiculous. Even simple stuff like them wanting to spend more money, based on income alone they have been punching above their weight.

  2. Went to the game with some free tickets. I want to find it hard to criticise 2 wins but…

Game was done at half time and the opportunity to experiment was there.

Whether that be dropping Kane into the 10 and bringing Toney on or putting Maddison in there.

Ramsdale for Pickford would have been nice.

But nope same old same old, breeze through these and don’t know whether we can play another formation if we ever need to.

Oh and it’s so boring. Jude is the standout quality even with players like Saka producing the winning moments today.

  3. With the podcasts knocking about now one conversation I see alot is Women arguing their value and desires of men and a equally opposite Man arguing that women dont bring traditional morals/values to relationships any more (virgin/young ect).

A rebuke that I then saw was that these traditional values are akin and in extreme cases a journey towards being a peadophile.

While there is the obvious sexual interaction I always think of it as two things, people exercising power (Saville) and social weirdos who never got the interaction/satisfaction they were desperate for (that weird lad you went to school with).

I don’t see how they can possibly think these ideas will fly.

At the very first brain storming there would be someone piping up to raise concerns about international law, legal challenges etc.

They decide to push ahead regardless knowing it’s millions of pounds wasted.

All to stoke the fire some more

    foreigners = bad

foreigners = no money for public services

foreigners = taking your jobs and stopping wage growth

foreigners = the reason you can’t see your gp

Some people still lap it up, we all know people that will. Saying that, I think this pool is getting smaller and smaller. People are seeing through the racist Tory bullshit more and more.

Because it’s not about the money or not atleast our money being wasted, they don’t care.

The only way they stay in power now is via this bullshit. That power allows them to continue lining their own pockets/placing people in high places of influence.

Stange really as I would see conservatism as low taxation of business which would intern bring more business and innovation and therefore economic success. I believe that people think this is what it is.

In practice and always has been it’s the power of the “upper” class over the others, in the hope that they are posh and rich (something most aspire to be) so they know best and will surely operate in our interest.

It’s ridiculous that they keep writing immigration policies that are always destined to be rejected. The millions / billions wasted on it whilst nurses use food banks is disgusting.

Almost like they know it doesn’t pass scrutiny. But allows 3 things to happen:

    1) Stir up the support from the ones frothing at the mouth against the poor brown people they dislike.

    2) Take focus away from other terrible things they have caused, energy/food/brexit ect.

    3) Blame labour and/or anyone that stands for free speech/law for blocking it.

All while the master plan to steal as much wealth as possible is underway, the banks are probably being deregulated or something dodgy related to tax is happening.

For what it’s worth I don’t think Braverman like Gullis, Anderson, Dorries et al is clever enough to be part of a master plan. Swept along with the rhetoric.

Persona wise hes returned to what he was before he went off the rails.

The absolute worst thing about boxing is the lack of ability to force these big fights to happen by the governing bodies. It plays into the hands of the boxers/promoters who want to duck fights or take the piss with a contract.

There are loads of decent RW options for us out there, some more realistic than others but it will be interesting to see who we end up going for.

Philogene-Bidace is an upgrade on Bailey and Traore on current showing.

Players who shouldnt be starting for us next season if we have ambitions of europe.

    Bailey

    Konsa

    Cash

    Ramsey

    Digne

    Did i miss anyone?

I’m okay with Cash starting and Ramsey has ability.

Konsa and Digne can stay in the squad.

    Bailey has got to go.

I went from playing red dead to this and so the story telling/static cut scenes for every conversation is the biggest thing annoying me and ruining it so far.

Ive come around but the cut scenes still annoy me.

Mycurrent  biggest gripe is the emptyness/lack of ability to jump over stair cases and walls. Hogwarts is essentially just stairs. The open world is fun, as is the attacking gameplay, my favourite bit is the big set piece missions/puzzle caves. Mixing spells is great.

I think there is a real opportunity for the next game in the series (when ever that may be) to be a real best game ever. Set somewhere like London in and around Diagon Alley with much better NPCs and interactive world.

It is, though I’d phrase it differently. Like this vegetable shortage. It’s not because of Brexit, it’s just made worse by Brexit. The high cost of energy due to Russia/Ukraine meant that growers in the uk and Holland have not been heating all their greenhouses, leaving some empty, so fewer local veg.  The bad weather in Morocco and Spain has meant reduced yields. None of that is Brexit. In the UK the tories subsidised botanic garden greenhouse heating costs, but not food growing greenhouse costs.  Stupid government. Yet Brexit also plays a part, due to a shortage of pickers, due to visa issues. It’s also meant that while Morocco can carry on sending produce to central hubs in the EU for onward distribution, they now also have to separately send direct to the uk, with another load of paperwork and admin and costs and it’s not worth it, given they have less produce overall.

So like a huge array of things, Brexit has made it worse and you’re right, Brexiters just deny and ignore and seek to distract from the damage they’ve caused.

    Great summary.

Putting it like this to my parents all they would hear is then non brexit bits.

We have our sovereignty back and that is worth it for everything else now.

edit: and to mention their spin on it would be if these things wernt happening brexit would be deemed a success.
