Miranda is quality in this game, asked for stupid wages before £72,000 a week or something silly, straight away i withdrew the offer... saw 2-3 other clubs pull out aswell then i rejoined in and offered £52,000 a week and it worked.. Players demand more money in this game - money grabbing words removed oh and the agent wanted a fee of £1.2m to himself when i first tried!!! when i finally signed him the agent had no cut.. made sure of that

The problem has started since milner left i think, his wasting himself at city now but when he was here we played : Milner's workrate used to help us alot.. since his gone its left a sort of a gap that needs replacing.

To be fair Houllier was going to play him in the carling cup but he had a dead leg, he was happy with his performance at Chelsea and said that role suited him (behind the striker) so i think we'll see more of that.. and Ireland said himself he'll try and prove himself to get in to the first team, just needs a run of games to get his match fitness upto scratch, I for one am excited. Houllier will also give him more games too i reckon, that burnley carling cup match would be ideal for him.

its just media trying to stir as usual... just shocking its SSN really. I'm happy with Ireland so far.. yes he missed that chance but his passing has been spot on and give him more games he'll give more input and hopefully get some goals too. Ireland + the Fonz will do really well if given the chance i reckon. (i dont mean partnership btw although who knows)

Hmm, don't agree with your judgement on ireland there; Ireland hasn't played a game properly at city for months, city always kept him on the bench and he never could break in to the first team with mancini, he isnt like milner but once he's on the ball he does make things happen. I've only seen the first 20 minutes of the match but he had one shot (2 minutes) and he also setup a goal for petrov which went wide.. he doesn't have Milner's workrate to run up the pitch and down.. I understand that but to say he doesn't want to be here is a bit harsh imo. Oh and if you saw his face when he missed the target he was really gutted, tried to atleast get a corner from it but it never worked, he knows he messed up on that shot.

just watching the match.. ireland made that run at around 2:20 which could've lead to a shot, great work in getting in that position... really close attempt too, i reckon he'll have a field day against lower teams. Seems a handful to mark.
