Too many people take an unwanted interest in what happens with other people's lives and want to impose THEIR values at any cost. Too many people think they are qualified to make judgments for other people.

I don't see any problem with people being concerned for an unborn child and how it could be damaged by the parent, possibly unknown to them.
If a member of my family gets pregnant and smokes then I will speak up. And, in my opinion, no-one will be justified if they tell me not to interfere. I'd be concerned for the new baby and it's welfare. If someone isn't aware of the problems that could occur through smoking then surely it's doing them a favour? Maybe some people just don't care enough to speak up. Thinking that they're 'treading on people's toes'?
Also.. I'm not sure if you're referring to the support on this forum. But if you were, there isn't. I don't think many people have said that the testing of pregnant women would be a good idea.
