  1. I wasn't saying that he was the only reason and I suppose the word 'huge' has indicated such. I suppose what I mean that in terms of playing staff I feel he has had a massive effect on the rest of the team. While all the shit has gone on he's been a senior player and club captain and therefore imo, has some responsibility in keeping the playing staff working together. He failed to do so. In fact his actions no doubt did the complete opposite.
  2. Ok, not really sure what your point is though.
  3. Who Westwood? They are all head and shoulders above him obviously....
  4. I'd be happy to try him and gestede up top. I think he's the best player at the club and we're certainly not getting the best out of him. He has to take some responsibility for that as well of course.
  5. Bacuna definitely has more to his game than Westwood and although Richards has been a disgrace for us he is not 'comfortably' worse than Westwood. I'm not sure bunn can be completely measured against Westwood either. As for the other 3, I agree. but they are some of the worse players I've ever seen in football..... not just at this club.
  6. That's kind of why I highlighted that he went off injured early. I disagree, other than the challenge that led to his injury I don't remember him threatening them at all. Tbh, I think we're in deep deep trouble if our game plan is solely reliant on Albert adomah's presence. thankfully I don't think it was. He's all a bit kick and rush for me from what I've seen. lots of energy but it's all a bit blind alley. poor man's jesus navas.
  7. I agree with the point you are making though I don't agree with the way you are making it. Some people have no morals but then again, it could be some young lad who for some reason is naive and thinks it's funny. Either way, a good kicking is not the way forward.
  8. Even under O'Neill he was a poor player overall. had some good spells but consistentancy was never there. He was badly out of his depth in the couple of England internationals he played. Poor player. Poor attitude and a huge reason imo, for this clubs demise. I can forgive him being rubbish but I will never forgive him for the appalling attitude he has displayed the last few years.
  9. You make some fair points and your right the Derby is unique game. However, even at this early stage (where it was important for Bruce to make us more solid), it is very difficult to watch us look so toothless in attack having spent so much. In the grand scheme of things Birmingham are a solid championship team but we should be at the very least imposing ourselves on the game.
  10. Not saying he doesn't. what I'm saying is we won't win many playing like we did yesterday
  11. I get that he's made us hard to beat and that was the most important thing to achieve. However, if we continue to approach the games in that manner I really don't see us winning many at all. best part of 40m quids worth of strikers on the pitch who never at any point looked like scoring. I was really looking forward to yesterday's game and it was a huge disappointment performance wise.
  12. All them times when I said, I have no time for him, I really wasn't joking. I was stunned when he was on the bench and shocked when he came on. Tbh, the game wasn't the most interesting anyway.
  13. Went off injured early on. thought he was poor
  14. I've got to say, I went beyond supporting the villa when this man came on. I became instantly disinterested. I'm not a fan of being ripped the piss out of and this is what this guy did and has done. No action will ever make up for the disgrace he has been the last couple of seasons so please gabby (after all the piss poor amount of 60 odd goals you've scored), do us all a favour and **** off
  15. Well yes it is. you've today said that people were wrong to call him shit. that seems to be off the basis of him playing well for a couple of games. NEITHER opinion of mile is definitely right yet you seem to have decided that ppls original opinion of him is wrong........ based on as little evidence as those ppl who you criticise in this thread made their minds up earlier on
  16. You've in no way answered the point I was making.
  17. Not necessarily. Lets take your point that there is a difference between saying someone is shit and playing shit.... I agree btw. But it's no different to the difference between saying he's not playing shit and he's not shit. So to simplify.... HE was playing shit. people said he is shit.... ultimately premature. Your now saying those who said he was shit were wrong based on him playing good....... which by your logic, doesn't make him good.
  18. Not really. Jedinak had a few bad games. ppl said he was shit. Jedinak has played better recently. ppl are saying that it was wrong for ppl to call him shit. Truth is, he hasn't been here anywhere near long enough to make a fully qualified decision, so both opinions are premature but neither can be called 100% wrong at this stage.
  19. Yes. of course it was. I've never denied otherwise. doesn't make it wrong.
  20. I'm not saying don't judge someone on a couple of games. I'm saying don't totally dismiss other ppls judgements (based on a couple of games), based on a couple of games.
  21. And it's equally premature to judge those opinions based on a couple of games. Nobody stood out today in a very poor game.
  22. Really? He was better today but he wasn't so amazing. by amazing I mean wasn't that good. He was steady in a really poor game.
  23. Did nothing to change my mind on what has been a 5 year opinion of him. absolute dogshit.
