    Blimey folks, calm down. It seems like some of you would just sign anyone to make the numbers up. We've done that before a wasted a ton of money. Emery won't do that. If whoever he wants isn't available now he will wait until they are. Is there any player who is going elswhere that we could have got that we would actually of wanted? Probably not. We have to be patient. The players we've got have played well under Emery and the ones we've offloaded wouldn't have featured anyway so we're no worse off in that regard

    There is absolutely no doubt we have the money. The difference from past regimes is there is no panic to spend it. If the right deals are not available now then we can bide our time until they are. I still think there will be incomings tomorrow but if the prices are too high in January and will be cheaper in the summer then so be it. Unai is shaping his squad and we should let him do it

    Actually only 5 teams have scored more than Newcastle. We might not love them but their statistics say they are on a great course. We must strive to follow

    Man Utd probably will finish above them, Spurs might, Liverpool and Chelsea are 10 points behind them and I don't think anyone else are going to overtake them Although I never think they are actually playing that well they don't concede and that's so important. I really can't see them lower than 5th but in reality I think they will be top 4

    Iposted re this flight yesterday. Whether or not it's Villa related is not known but given it's Air Hamburg who Villa use it would be a coincidence if it isn't. Having said that it certainly doesn't mean there's a player on board. It could have been Villa officials visiting for discussions

    Citation Biz jet left BHX yesterday to Marseille. It returns tomorrow night at 21.20. It is owned by the same company that Villa used to bring Moreno from Seville airport last week. Interesting to see if it is indeed football related and who is onboard!!
