    Stones has played 2 games for Man City this season, and Maguire has barely played for Man Utd. That’s our central defensive partnership. Honestly I feel like most of this team could miss the entire season through injury but still start in the Euro’s.

    Going to reserve judgment until he’s actually convicted of something. Certainly doesn’t look great so far but the good thing is he’s only on loan, and we are run extremely professionally. Realistically this is Galatasaray’s problem, and we are just in the middle of it all. If he is banned it will have minimal impact on the club. We’ve had a great season so far and he has had a very small part to play in that.

    Watkins scores 2 in 2 for England, more than 500 days apart by all accounts. So scoring for England is no guarantee that Watkins will be involved in future squads this season. Another example of Southgate making it up as he goes along.
