He plays week in week out in the Premier League and you don't consider him the level of a Premier League midfielder? Your assumption is correct! If Westwood wore a dress and make up every Saturday night in his own home that does not make him a female of the species either? Whilst I am not condoning his actions, Haaland stood over him shouting abuse at him like the big man while Keane was on the floor with his career in the balance, Southgate again, came in super late for a challenge so don't expect any kind of come back. Both of them had the balls to give it out, so expect retribution. This isn't the playground, they are grown men, you give and you take. In real life the big man does take it and gets on with things. The big man doesn't run round after some one trying to get them back. Tackles happen, sometimes they are mis timed but I don't tnink many players want to end a fellow pro's career. I also realise that this silly hard man act is part of the reason people love to hate him. When he was a pundit most of the viewers were praying for him to punch Adrian Chiles because we all wanted to. He does what he does to sell his books etc. Is he a good coach? Lambert brought and plays Westwood every week, how is he not relevant? But I do discuss Lambert in his thread too! Anyway IMO we are a poor side playing poor football and Westwood is a huge contributory factor to that scenario. He might have. I'm not saying he hasn't, just that i don't believe he has. That's based on not much more than a hunch. After 7 months of training and numerous matches you think he's not match fit? Let's see who plays Monday as I think Jores really deserves a chance 'match fit' or not? I think he's match fit in terms of being able to play a certain level of 90 minute football match. That doesn't necessarily mean he's match fit for the premier league. So without playing in the Premier League how does he get match fit for the Premier League? It would be completely dependant on the injury and/or the individual. I don't know Jores or have much detail about his injury, or his recovery or his mindset, or his training regime or even his performance in the games he's played in so I couldn't possibly comment. See above See above No it isn't. But it is certainly a level of football below the premier league. MAYBE the best way to get Okore back is to ease him into football gently via pre season games, U21 games, international U21 games and then first team appearances? MAYBE throwing the player into first team action isn't the best course of action in this case? I don't know, I'm just guessing. I find it hard to believe that he's fallen out with the manager and I find it hard to believe that he is lower in ability than all of our other defenders. The conclusion I've come to is I think he's being eased back in slowly after a very bad injury. I might be wrong, but I think I've explained sufficiently why I've come to that conclusion. Whether it's falling out or Lambert easing him back gently I still want him to start against Southampton if Vlaar, Senderos and Baker are all injured! So is Raheem Stirling and Is suspect that if he played for the Villa he would be getting the same chances as young Jack under our esteemed manager! See that? it's the point you've missed. So it is the manager that is holding young Jack back then? And if Stirling was here then Lambert would have been 100% wrong to hold him back as he has proved good enough for the Premier League? Ergo Lambert and his team set up is the problem? Thought so!

You're completely wrong. Imo obviously. You are joking? Westwood wouldn't get into Derby's, Forest's, Watford's or Bournemoth midfield never mind another Premier League team. He could perhaps makes the knuckledraggers side but he is plainly not good enough for us! My previous post still applies. Well at least you don't just type 'Yawn'?
